Food was good thank you
Loved it. Quiet and clean. The food was excellent. Had the seafood jambalaya.
I've been too Sage several times over the years, and I think I'm finally done with it.
Service - Service has always been hit and miss. Sometimes terrible, sometimes OK. Tonight, I walked in right behind a server who didn't bother to hold the door open when we followed her in, then she proceeded to walk to a back room ignoring us. We were left standing at the hostess stand for a few minutes until she decided to come back out to acknowledge us. There were only two table seated at the time, so they weren't busy. After we sat, we requested an ice bucket for a bottle of wine (keep in mind this is a BYOB). They server found the time to socialize with another server and other staff while we waited for our our ice bucket. Eventually, she found her way back to our table to take our order - completely forgetting about the ice bucket, which we eventually got. We ordered an app. After we finished the app, she came back to take our dinner order. Not the best timing.
Food - We ordered two items. The fettucine and shrimp was a nice portion of pasta with a very generous 4 medium sized shrimp (note the sarcasm). One of the fish specials was topped with shrimp - my mistake forgetting shrimp can be both singular and plural.. it was one fish filet with one shrimp - not worth the $38 price! The flavor of the food remains OK, but they seem to be skimping on the proteins and overcharging for the meal.
Bill - We charged our dinner, and when the credit card slip was given to us for signature, we found a surcharge for using a credit card that was NOT previously disclosed on the the menu or on the bill when it was presented to us. I questioned the host, and he said they started imposing that about a month ago, there should have been a sign on the front door (there wasn't), and someone must have taken it down. He did NOT offer to remove the charge. I think it's ridiculous when a restaurant is already overcharging for food (bill was over $80) then wants the customer to cover the credit card fee.
Adios, Sage!
Dined here recently. Authentic middle eastern food that was great. Service very friendly. Nice atmosphere. Would recommend a visit.

WOW What a perfect dinning experience.
From our server, Jessie, to the awesome menu selections to the pacing of our meal; everything was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now lets take you through our dinning experience and on Mother's Day no less when most places jack up pricing and deliver mediocre food and service. Not at Sage, tonight was like any other night menu wise and the staff were in great form. Serving is a performance.
From the moment we stepped in until we said our good byes... a top culinary performance.
For our first course we shared the seafood bisque with real pieces of crabmeat, chef had me at my knees just on this dish alone. Best flavor and base I've had in many many years. It was just fabulous.
Next, we shared the Sage salad, it was 100% fresh, tasty and colorful ingredients with a lovely, refreshing salad dressing.
Next we shared the fruit de mare appetizer which is loaded with jumbo srimps, clams and mussles but instreat of the white wine sauce chef made with with red and with a fra diavla kick (we love flavor). Was excellent.
Next we shared the veal boscaiola, fresh thin slices of veal (tender), sauteed in olive oil served with peppers, artichoke hearts, and mushrooms in a plum tomato sauce. This dish was a work of art. delicous.
If only Sage Mediterranean was closer to Bucks County. No tears, we make 1 to 2 annual trips to Phoenixville during the summer and now we have our #1 go to place.
Hi Chef, and Jessie, we will be back.
Be sure to see my food pics.
