  Catering review: we picked up dinner for a party we hosted and everything was fabulous. Chicken kebobs over potatoes were a notable huge hit. Other tasty orders: greek shrimp, beets, & greek salad. Everything was ready on time with easy serve instructions. Our friends were all asking where we got it all. Love, love, love and will order again. Phoenixville can be a zoo for parking but pickup in the rear of the restaurant was easy.

  Wife and I split the octopus and beet and hummus appetizer they were so good but the entrees were somehow even better. The Solomos salmon pasta bowl was light fresh and herby and the mousakka was rich and delicious. Don’t forget to get a frappe before you go, if I closed my eyes I almost thought I was in the limani in Greece

  I have enjoyed dine-in at Avlos and recently placed a catering order from them as well. Chef Nicole was very accommodating of allergies and special requests, and the food was amazing! I will definitely be back soon.

  I don’t know what happened to this restaurant—maybe new ownership or a new chef—but the food was very disappointing. I ordered the fish with Israeli couscous and clams, and the couscous was so overcooked it completely disintegrated on my plate. The spinach puff pastry was stale and so hard we could barely cut through it. When we mentioned these issues to our waitress, there was no reaction or concern, which made the experience even more disappointing. To top it off, the suggested tip starts at 21%. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this place.
