Absolutely incompetent staff. I checked in with them up front for my food pickup. They said a few minutes. 30 minutes later they say they just got the order. If you want to wait an hour for your food, this is your place!

My friends and I visited Philly for a day. We decided to check out a restaurant and try their food. They serve some of the best lamb chops and chicken lollipops. Also, they have a special wing called Naga wings, which are very spicy and hot. Overall, the food was delicious.

The people were super friendly, the place is nicely decorated and the food is good, but its not Bangladeshi. I wish they would have kept at least a few authentic Bangladeshi dishes on the menu - tehari, roast, shammi kabob maybe. The Fuchka was the only Bangladeshi item but the flavors were not. Overall good, but I wouldn't go here again looking for Bangladeshi food.

We were looking for a halal Bangladeshi restaurant and we found woondal. Though almost all of the items were from indian cuisine, we still thought to give it a try. Item 1: chicken lollipop - I believe it's old and refried! The lolipop was hard to bite and the fried layer was tough. It was way too salty. Rate: 2/5 Item 2: Hayedrabadi beef biryani - Beef had too much salt, couldn't enjoy the food at all. Taste was below average. Rate: 2/5 Item 3: chicken Tandoori platter w/ rice - They give good proportion of chicken, a leq quarter and a breast. But it was burned to black, and guess what!? SALTY!! I hate wasting food, I always take leftovers to home but It was so burned and salty that my appetite died to take it back home. Rate: 1/5 Item 4: Fuska - I have never eaten a hot filled fuska before, it was salty too and a bit spicy. The taste was average but it would be more enjoyable if it was not over salted. Rate: 2.5/5 Item 5: Butter shrimp - This was good. Out of all the items this was alright. The gravy was good but shrimp was salty. Rate: 4/5 Item 6: Mango lassi - Personally I would rate it 3/5. It was ok. I believe the yogurt or the mango was a bit sour. But there was a hint of coconut. I have never had any mango lassi with coconut flavor before. Service: The guy who was serving us was alright. Then another girl came and was serving another table. Not blaming any of them but surely blaming the restaurant authority. What a poor management! Both server were serving with bare hands touching the food pot where their thumb was touching the food. Management should train the server properly. Use a tray or be careful to not put your finger in the food while serving it to the customer. Also since you're charging for the service, make sure you're serving properly, give napkins and utensils before serving the food. Atmosphere was good. Good for friends and family. Clean and tidy.
