  Underwhelming, every dish after the raw bar was uneventful and covered the delicate flavors of the fresh fish. Pasta was salty and I’m a salt fiend. Octopus was not as good as many other more casual restaurants where the chef is not decorated. Service was very spotty. Sat at counter so maybe that was the issue. Way too expensive for the food execution and the service. We ordered multiple courses and sat for quite awhile with empty glasses of our starter wines which were 2 glasses of champagne. Over $400 for 2 with tip. I know this restaurant can and should do better than what we experienced for that kind of bank. Sorry, wish I had a better review. If we ever return it’ll be to the bar for raw bar/crudo type dishes and a glass of wine.

  Went tonight for my sister’s birthday. I’ve been before and have always had an excellent experience so tonight I was underwhelmed. They forgot the bread and champagne that was ordered ahead of time for her bday, not to mention our waiter, Tom, was not friendly. Outside of these encounters, it was good. But overall a little disappointed spending so much money and the overall experience not reflecting that.

  Touch a friend out for her birthday. Food, service, and atmospere was star-studded. The tuna tartare was to die for. The octopus was unbelievable. The eggplant was award-winning. My swordfish was outrageous. My guest had the scrumptous branzino and took home the leftovers. 5 Star Experience.

  Food is very tasty and fresh but the prices are not justified. Atmosphere feels very corporate and uninviting. We spent almost $400 for two people and I didn’t have any alcohol. Tuna tartare and cavatelli were excellent. Rib eye was good, nothing spectacular. There are better restaurants in the city to spend that sort of money that feel way more special and have better food in my opinion.

  The service is top notch. The atmosphere was Ok, but I was bummed to see that there are not toilet seat covers or disinfectant in the restrooms. Also, the water pressure on the first stall was very low and the toilet didn't flush. The food was not exactly what I expected. I ordered one of their specials, wagyu beef with summer truffles, and our server inspiredly suggested to pair it with the cavatelli. I was expecting the beef and truffle combination to be an umami feast, but the chef decided to add chopped tomatoes. The tomatoes were so overpowering that I couldn't really taste the beef nor the truffles, and instead of umami I got a $55 acidic mess. The cavatelli was fine, the desert was great, but I am not coming back. There are tons of much better restaurants in the city.
