Great setting in the Four Season hotel with contemporary deco. The food is excellent. Everything is fresh and delicate. The best dish is the lobster pasta at the end - tasty red sauce with a touch of heat, perfectly balanced with the sweet lobster meat. Yum!

Awesome restaurant but a bit pricey. Our bill was over $300 for 2 people but we did order a few drinks. Service was amazing. Lovely atmosphere. Just be prepared to spent a lot of money

I expected a much better experience from Vernick Fish, especially given the reputation and price point.
The food was not the issue. The service was. Our server, Tom, was condescending almost immediately. I made a drink preference known, and instead of simply taking the order or offering a normal recommendation, he rolled his eyes and made sarcastic, judgmental comments about my taste. It was bizarrely unprofessional and honestly set a terrible tone for the meal.
What made it worse was how obvious the shift became once he realized our tab was going to be large. Suddenly the attitude softened, and by the end he was trying to be overly pleasant, even complimenting the same preference he had mocked earlier. That did not come across as genuine it came across as grossly calculated.
On top of that, it took about 45 minutes before our food order was even taken, which is ridiculous for a restaurant operating at this level. Then, when I was paying the bill, he stood over my shoulder watching as I handled the tip. That is wildly inappropriate in any restaurant, but especially one presenting itself as upscale.
For a place with Vernick Fish’s reputation, this was incredibly disappointing. I do not mind paying for a premium dining experience, but the service should match the price; this felt judgmental, uncomfortable, and poorly managed from start to finish
The food was fantastic. But I cannot believe the service experience

My husband and I recently went for our anniversary and our expectations were definitely exceeded! The entire team went out of their way to make the night special for us. The cocktails and food were delicious and the ambiance was great. Be sure to save room for dessert, the banana cream pie sundae is worth it! Definitely recommend for a nice night out.

I tried Vernick Fish and it was honestly such a great experience. The place has a really nice upscale feel but still comfortable enough to just relax and enjoy. The seafood was super fresh and full of flavor, you can tell they really know what they’re doing. Every dish came out looking amazing and tasted even better. The staff was friendly and professional without being too formal, which I liked. Service was smooth and well-paced. It’s definitely a spot for a nice meal, and I’d for sure come back again.
