  I had a great dinner. Nikita provided excellent, professional service. Started with a wedge salad and had the baked swordfish accompanied by mashed potatoes and broccolini. Everything was very good. Finished the meal with the browned butter cake and a scoop of ice cream which was terrific 💯. Looking forward to going back soon.

  Michael was a fantastic waiter. Oysters were awesome. Drink menu is really good. Stuffed salmon was so good! Very happy we chose to have dinner here tonight.

  Between the bar and dining room, we were there for about four hours. It was very latest back. No rushing. The service was great! I loved Shyanne’s vibe. It matched mine.The food presentation and taste were superb! I’ll be back!!

  Me & my boyfriend have visited several times & were pleased. The last two times we visited we were lucky enough to have George as our waiter & he went above & beyond. He’s very knowledgeable of the menu, attentive, friendly & even mentioned a rewards program. He remembered us as well, which definitely made our night. We look forward to visiting again, & hopefully having the pleasure of dining with George again.

  My friend and I visited McCormick & Schmick's at 1 S. Broad Street in Philadelphia for lunch on May 31, 2026, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. After being seated, our male server, Nikita, took our drink order but immediately returned to ask for it again, despite us having already provided it multiple times. We then waited approximately 20 minutes for our drinks. When my friend's drink finally arrived, it was incorrect and had to be sent back. Another 20 minutes passed before the drinks were returned. My drink was still incorrect, but after nearly an hour of waiting, I chose to keep it rather than wait any longer. We then waited an additional 15–20 minutes for our food to arrive. What made this especially frustrating was that we were only the third table seated in the dining room. The lengthy delays seemed unreasonable given how few guests were present. Despite the poor service, we finished our meal, paid our separate bills, and left a 20% tips each. Later that evening, I realized I had left my credit card at the restaurant. I called and spoke with a server named Cheyenne, who took my information and said she would speak with the manager and call me back. After waiting more than an hour without a response, I called again. Cheyenne informed me that the manager had not called and that no credit card had been turned in to her manager. She also stated she was unsure when Nikita would be working again to verify what happened. Concerned, I asked to speak directly with the manager. The evening manager on duty, Carl, offered no assistance or solution to assist me. He was dismissive and unprofessional throughout the conversation. Rather than showing empathy or apologizing for the situation, he repeatedly interrupted me and seemed unwilling to address my concerns. When I expressed concern that something may have happened to my card, he offered little reassurance and simply stated that they did not have it. When I stated there seems to be some fraudulent activity happening in the restaurant, he agreed. The response from a manager blew my mind. The combination of poor service, excessive wait times, lack of communication, and unprofessional management left a very negative impression. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location to anyone visiting Center City Philadelphia. Unfortunately, I must rate a 1 star level to post this review. Based my experience today, I would rate a negative 10.
