The food was delicious, we came in after 10pm. The mole… like my GRANDMA used to make, margarita tower… BOMB and the cemita… LOADED 🤤 definitely check them out if you’re in the area. ALSO our server Kevin is the man, dude was running the bar and serving, but never did it feel like we weren’t being taken care of. Owner if you’re seeing this give this man a raise!!!!

Came by chance while roaming the neighborhood. I wasn't too hungry, so I just ordered rice, chips with pico, and a michelada. The rice was good and flavorful, but the chips were HARD, and the michelada was just alright. On the plus side, the ambience and decoration were BEAUTIFUL and full of art, and the bathroom was clean and very unique.
First time for my Fiance's Dad having mojitos and delicious Mexican cuisine gor lunch. He enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere wss relaxing for lunch. Lots of color and paintings, and the food was phenomenal phenomenal.
The Burrito Al Pastor hit the spot just right, especially with salsa Verde drizzled ontop.
If you want to have a full stomach before 2pm in South Philly, this is the spot.
Tastes like home cooking.
I had a really bad experience with the service a server was rude because she threw me the receipt and I didn’t pick up, and her name is Esperanza, for I to say this she never gifted me anything . And if that person doesn’t like her job she doesn’t have to be a server . Because she is very rude and I heard with so many people that day about her … Good luck !!

Went here last night to take out burritos with my queen. Lemme tell yall. These were the worst, driest bloodclat burritos I’ve ever had. I got the chicken one and the chicken was so dry. And it’s not because I don’t do dairy so much, the burritos aren’t dry at the spots I normally go to. Shout out to Taco-Taco Mexican. My lady said the meat in her burrito just wasn’t good. I ended up pulling off so much of the tortilla that seemed so excessive, huge. Then I just abandoned the wrap all together and decided to have it from a bowl at home. I couldn’t even do it. I ended up eating the rice and threw out the bomboclat dry chicken.
It was just a little before 11pm, there was no one in there, no one picking up food, and it took us 30 minutes to get our food.
And lastly, the prices for this food is at gouging standards at best. Especially when there’re so many other similar places south Philly who offer the same thing. $15 for a chicken burrito with no cheese. While the spot across the street offers the same thing for $9. I wouldn’t have minded the high price if the food was good. Very disappointing. And they shouldn’t be using Frieda’s name, image, artistic anything to push this terrible food. Use dark chicken meat if that’s how dry your food is going to be bro.
I should’ve known something was off when I saw more people coming out of the spot across the street with food. We tried them first but they said they were closed and we settled for this terrible, over priced food instead. I don’t recommend, and I hope they see this and go try their own food again to see what I’m talking about. The ingredients they use just don’t seem to be good. I want every business to do well, and I want every business to provide good service and products. I hope they do better than what we experienced. Call me, the quality connoisseur, if yall need to conduct an overhaul of yall food operation. They have to make most of their money from liquor sales here🤷🏾♂️. Because the food we had was 👎🏾👎🏾.
