We were at Del Frisco’s for my husband’s 75th birthday. Our food was amazing, but our server, Ayonna, made the experience over the top! She guided us on food selections, served our sides with a happy and pleasant demeanor and checked on us intermittently throughout the evening. My husband had the 16 oz, 45 day aged ribeye, and declared it the best steak he’s ever had. A great experience overall!

FINE DINING THAT ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE AN EXPERIENCE. Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse made dinner feel interactive and almost like a show. Selections came around throughout the meal; from different meats and cuts to seafood and dessert. You can choose exactly how you want your meat cooked. The service was exceptional. Everyone was professional, attentive, and accommodating without hovering. We never had to flag anyone down, but we also had plenty of uninterrupted time to talk and enjoy our table. The pacing was exactly what fine dining should be. The atmosphere, presentation, and hospitality all lived up to the standards you expect at this price point. My only critique is the limited seafood and vegetarian selection. I understand it’s a steakhouse, but more substantial alternatives would make it easier when dining with a group where not everyone eats meat. Overall, polished service, great attention to detail, and an experience that feels worthy of a special occasion.

My husband made reservations at Del Frisco’s to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing, especially considering the price point and reputation of this restaurant. We waited about 30 minutes past our reservation time before being seated, only to be given what genuinely felt like the worst table in the restaurant, directly next to the kitchen. The entire time, all we could hear was kitchen noise and the kitchen door constantly opening and closing behind us. Because the restaurant has such a dim atmosphere, every time the door opened, the bright kitchen light would shine directly into our seating area. At one point, an employee came directly behind us, picked up a chair and lifted it over his head, and carried it past our table. There was so much activity happening around and behind us that it honestly felt like we were sitting in a service area rather than dining at an upscale restaurant. We asked three different people if we could be moved and were not accommodated. What made it even more disappointing was that our reservation clearly indicated that we were celebrating a birthday. Our server was wonderful, and I want to make that very clear. He was kind, attentive, and absolutely not the problem. Unfortunately, the food we received didn’t improve the experience. We ordered the bacon appetizer, which was extremely fatty and disappointing. The bread was neither warm nor soft and honestly tasted stale. At that point, my husband and I looked at each other and realized we simply didn’t want to spend the rest of my birthday dinner there. We asked our server for the check. He seemed genuinely apologetic and got who I believe was a manager. Only after we had decided to leave did they suddenly offer to move us and acknowledge that we were celebrating a birthday. By then, it was too late. We had already waited for our reservation, asked multiple times to move, and given the restaurant several opportunities to make the experience right. We ended up going to Ocean Prime instead, and the difference was night and day. Without even knowing we were celebrating anything, they seated us at an amazing table. Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious, and even something as simple as the bread came out fresh, soft, and warm. They gave us the upscale dining experience we had originally expected. When you’re choosing to spend this kind of money on dinner, especially for a special occasion, the experience should match the price point. Unfortunately, ours at Del Frisco’s simply did not.

An absolutely amazing experience. The bar top seating is great and the wagyu meatballs were phenomenal. I loved my experience here. The building itself is stunning. It is huge and very impressive. The service was phenomenal and the staff was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this spot.

Took my dad here for his retirement dinner, his first time at a fancy restaurant. We had a bit of everything including filet mignon, lobster tail, octopus, oysters and our server gave my dad a cheesecake that said congratulations. Michael H - was superb! So personable, funny, and down to earth. He made us feel right at home and like we were neighbors (even though we later found out we are really neighbors). Overall it was such a great experience with the touch of the floor manager/supervisor also coming out to check in on us and congratulate my dad. I truly enjoyed the ambiance, the vault, and the beautiful artwork they had. Would definitely come again. Perfect for a celebration.
