My son and I came here before going to a Phillies game to play some games. Before we played, we had an appetizer and a beer. The service slow. The person working was stocking the coolers and shelf after giving us a menu. She did not even look over to see if we were ready. Another employee finally came over to take our order after a long time. The appetizer was good that we ordered when we finally got it. Dave & Buster's was a fun place to visit while down in Philly.

I had a really fun time at Dave & Buster's Philadelphia, and it was a great place to spend an afternoon with friends. We started with lunch before heading into the arcade. I ordered a burger with fries, and the food arrived hot, fresh, and surprisingly good. After eating, we spent a couple of hours playing arcade games, and there was a great variety that kept everyone entertained.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was energetic without feeling overwhelming. The only small downside was that a few of the more popular games were occupied most of the time, so we had to wait a little to play them. Fortunately, there were plenty of other games to enjoy.
My tip for first-time visitors is to load a little extra credit onto your game card because you'll probably stay longer than you expect. Visiting on a weekday or earlier in the day is also a good way to avoid the biggest crowds.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience. Thank you to the entire team at Dave & Buster's Philadelphia for the fun atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Philadelphia.

Great atmosphere..nice servers and Great Bartender.. Food came out nice and hot and delicious. will be back..I gave 4 stars because of the wait time for tables..it was only 2 ppl working..1 bartender and 1 server..it's a Saturday.. July 4th..if there were multiple servers and bartenders they'd be able to turn tables quicker and get ppl seated faster.

Haven't been to a Dave and Buster's in yearssss. As with many things, we were looking for a place that would have some fun stuff for our little to enjoy and eat, while also having a place to watch the FIFA match with food and drinks for us. We figured most places would be crowded since it was the Haiti vs. Brazil match which was happening in the city that night - the city was buzzing! My boyfriend suggested D & B and I was game. I made a reservation just in case - glad I did as many people ended up coming in.
Now a will say there a couple things that has us making the face of the swaggy p meme: the first escalator going up working but the next one so we took the elevator the steps the rest of the way up to the restaurant; we would've the elevator, but the person passed out/laying on the ground threw our little one off a bit (hope that person is okay!)!; and when taking the elevator down when we eventually left later that night, we weren't sure if it was working since it didn't light up and didn't seem like it was moving at a point - it was fine though. Outside of those things, we had a pretty good time! Lol
Food was typically bar food and good for us, though we weren't fans of the Cheesesteak egg rolls. Drinks were made well, and our little one said she enjoyed her food too. Of course, we had to head over to the games after eating and we had a blast! We initially had issues with the card at certain games, but it eventually was fine and we were able to play at every game we wanted. Because of our little one, I think we played and tried out almost every game in there.
Overall, we had a good time and would consider coming back.

Came with a school group where we were served before being able to go out and play the games. All students were told that they could go and buy extra food with their own money should they want to. However, staff were very rude and refused to seat the students on their own. Even with the trip chaperones coming to sit with the students so they could get their food, staff continued to be rude, constantly tried to move us to different sections, and tried to add automatic gratuities to the students bills before they even sat down. Overall the experience was very bad, put a damper on the trip as a whole, and made us reevaluate the professionalism of the establishment. Likely will not be back, and I hope Dave & Busters fixes their attitude because such rudeness won't be tolerated by everyone.
