  I have never felt compelled to write a review on a business’ Google page, but I have also never felt so scammed by a business in the past. The avocado toast pictured was TEN NINETY FIVE USD. $10.95. OVER ELEVEN DOLLARS AFTER TAX! For a singular slice of grocery store bread with some avocado and chili flakes. I have never felt as taken aback and speechless as I was when we opened the comically large box containing our singular, wimpy slice of avocado toast. I am in disbelief, and I have been for the past hour or so since we ordered. My total for my order was almost $40, for two drinks that were just meh, this avocado toast, and a jaffle that was so hot it burned my mouth but was also so soggy it fell apart as I tried to eat it. I have never felt so wronged by a restaurant in my life. Trust me, I work in the food industry - I know what it can be like. But there is no way to justify a national chain offering something so ridiculously small at such a ridiculously high price. I was so gobsmacked that I actually went up to the man working the counter and asked if it was correct for it to just be one slice of bread for that price, and the only thing he could say was “yeah… it’s a bit overpriced”. I know this man does not control the portion sizes or the prices, so I was not going to bother him further. But Bluestone Lane should feel ashamed that this is what they are serving their customers. I wouldn’t even want a credit for a future order, I don’t plan to return. Ever. If Bluestone Lane is happy to keep running this scam, they can keep my lousy $40, but to be honest I will forever be angry about this and tell everyone I know to never patronize this establishment.

  This is my favorite Bluestone in Center City! I’m never disappointed with my drinks or the food that I order. The danishes are my favorite. Victoria and Igor always make my day

  Love this spot! The coffee is always amazing, and the avocado toast never disappoints. I usually add a hard-boiled egg for that extra protein boost. It’s super convenient since I work nearby, and everything comes perfectly packed in to go boxes. Perfect grab and go coffee shop when you’re on the move or late for work.

  Melanie is Awesome and they have the best coffee around. I had a Jaffle and it was soooo good, and easy to eat while I walked to the train.
