Has no business dealing with public. A definite sore at ACME. I guess, I will look for another food venue in Manayunk. Not recommended.

- SHSyketa HarrisJun 9, 20261.0I visited on Tuesday, June 9th around 12:55 p.m. and was disappointed by the customer service at the deli counter. When I approached to place an order, both attendants appeared to be weighing bulk meat on the scale. As a customer, I wasn't sure whether they were still assisting customers or finishing up an order, so I approached the younger employee for assistance. Instead of acknowledging me or explaining that he was busy, he simply pointed me toward the other associate. What made the interaction especially frustrating was that after directing me away, he continued standing there having a casual conversation with another employee. From my perspective, it did not appear that he was actively helping a customer at that moment. If he was already assisting someone or completing a task related to a customer's order, that would have been completely understandable. A simple, "I'm finishing up an order, but the other associate will be right with you," would have gone a long way. Instead, I was met with a look that felt dismissive, as if he was wondering why I was asking him for assistance at all, before pointing me toward the older gentleman, who also appeared to be occupied weighing meat as well. I ultimately received help from the other associate, but the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from the first employee left a negative impression. Customer service starts with acknowledging and respectfully assisting guests, and unfortunately that was not my experience today.
