Not the worst, but not great. I dislike the chain and Safeway across the board when it comes to prices and stock - it’s not really where you want to shop if you actually “cook.” Steaks are miserable, seafood selection is miserable. Only thin cut jawns at like 15-20/lb so they sell you Murry’s style discount meat but they wanna charge you >1” thick prices. Wanted mussels and they were ashy, open, small, and not on ice - needless to say, I didn’t get them.
Great pharmacy team though!

The store has gradually declined from decent to abysmal over the years. Firstly, they treat you like a criminal - most of the time the main entrance is blocked, so you enter through the one-cart wide exit. Then you have to walk all the way to the other end of the store to walk in through the self checkout area. Then you have to walk back to the main entrance - because you want to start with the non-frozen, non-refrigerated items, which are back by where the entrance you can't use is. The carts are rickety. The staff seems to always be doing anything but operating the checkouts. They haven't had baskets in years. The prices are higher than Whole Foods. The stairs are decaying. The elevators are disgusting. The store itself is disorganized and constantly under some inconvenient renovation. Anyway, do yourself a favor - order whole foods or another delivery service. If you absolutely have to go to a supermarket in person, go across the street to the Heirloom. My only hope is that they go out of business and get replaced with a better supermarket.

Great store, only issue is they contract out for deliveries and they don't always end well. Acme should listen to their employees more. Nice & clean store though. Very friendly & helpful employees as well.
