I tried to buy some groceries and the Orwellian Acme doesn't have bags, so I put groceries in my tote bag after scanning and it kept flagging me. Just once I'd like an interaction here where I don't feel the full weight of dystopia. Just beyond excessive.

If you're gonna make me do an employees jobs by doing self check out, dont come after me when i'm slow, inefficient, and make mistakes. Don't open a store if youre gonna treat customers like we're kids that need to be allowed to leave. I question if all the new gates are within fire code. since the block the two exits to the building.

The manager refused to ring me up, saying they weren’t doing any alcohol sales. No explanation, no attempt to help. I left without purchasing anything. It was a really disappointing and confusing experience.

I am an instacart shopper and there's a validation for shoppers but they still have me pay $6 for an order that isn't even mine. Worst acme I've ever been to. Can hardly find what your looking for and how dare they charge people that much to park at a grocery store. Also!!! They don't even have a rest room... So like are u supposed to pee your pants while shopping? Cuz that's insane all supermarkets are required by law to have a restroom for customers. Shut it down 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
