  Don’t bother trying to place giant direct orders. Not only will they not both to substitute out of stock items, they will still charge you the full amount and simply not include things in your order. I’ve had enough of it. I’ve shopped here for far too long and you’ve charged me repeatedly for item I never received. We will be grocery shopping elsewhere. It’s hard to warrant shopping in a place that doesn’t include a solid 15% of your weekly groceries.

  Great, clean store with friendly people. But i will say (as a friendly northwestern pennsylvanian, we dont have giants) the fact that the donuts were labeled as 10 for a dozen (the membership card price) when they were actually 12 a dozen feels a tad decietful, but excellent donuts!

  My son and I visited the Newport, PA location. In the past our experiences were not so good. There were employees who would swear while working, some were just downright rude, I even had one who ran into me even though he could have gone around. He hurt me nothing was done. That was 9 years ago and we had not gone back since. . Today was very different. Now that I receive a special grocery allowance through medicare I have started going back as they accept the card (thanks for that) makes shopping easier. . I asked one young man where the baking isle was I could not remember and honestly with my pain levels today I simply did not want to be in there any longer than needed so I asked instead of searching. He was so respectful and was almost right as to which aisle it was in he was off by one aisle I can live with that :) . A bakery employee overheard my conversation with my son when I had said, " I wonder if there is cinnamon in this" without hesitation the employee said, "Yes ma'am there is cinnamon in that item." He was respectful and very polite when he answered . A big plus for me was that he looked me straight in the eye as he was talking. I have partial deafness so if someone is not looking at me when they speak I don't always catch everything they say. Kudos for that. . Our next wonderful experience was the young man at the last register. It was around 1pm today. Total respect, greeted us when we got there, asked if we found what we needed, smile on his face, joked with us about not leaving the parking lot before we enjoyed the bakery items we purchased as he would sit there until he did. That made me laugh and it felt good to laugh. . With an experience like that we will deffinately go back to that location again.
