- ALAndy Luz1 day ago5.0I am originally from the Philly area so I have been spoiled by growing up around amazing hoagies. I have tried a lot of different sandwich places in the area and Bigfoot Subs is BY FAR the best I've had. I ordered a "missing link" for lunch today and it was very good. I would say they are on-par with any good hoagie shop in the Philly area, which is a big compliment. The meats and veggies are all sliced thin and there is a good ratio amongst all of the ingredients. I really like that they use red onion and an actual hot pepper hoagie spread. All of the ingredients seem to be very high quality. The thing about their sandwiches that stuck out to me the most is they use actual hoagie rolls! Most sandwich places around here use this really terrible super soft bread that disintegrates and falls apart while you eat the sandwich. Bigfoot Subs uses a very good quality bread (I believe they bake it themselves if I'm not mistaken). The only thing I think could make the bread better is if they made the crust slightly denser and offered a seeded version. But don't get me wrong, the bread they have now is absolutely exceptional for this area. I will absolutely be back and I can't wait to try their other items. They are my go-to hoagie place in the Williamsport area from now on.
