  Would give less than one star if I could. Today I tried to buy a Rotisserie Chicken with my groceries. Who ever put this particular chicken out didn’t tag it with a sticker. No biggie, I press the request help button at the self check out so somebody can manually input it. I waited 5 minutes and nobody showed up to help. I can see two supervisors on the front end. One seemed to think bagging was more important while the other was too busy talking to two other store employees to bother helping. However based on previous interactions I’ve had with staff here the lack of urgency in assisting customers doesn’t surprise me. A few months ago I stopped in looking for dried porcini mushrooms. The Giant app indicated they were in stock at this location. I was unable to locate them so I stopped at the service desk and asked a manager. She said if it wasn’t on the green wall with the rest of the mushrooms they didn’t have it. She didn’t bother to go check, ask a produce associate, pull up a computerized system to check, etc. Just brushed me off. I returned a few weeks later and to my surprise accidentally stumbled across dried porcini mushrooms. However they were NOT on the green wall. Had this manager bothered to actually try maybe I wouldn’t have had to drive across town to a different grocery store to get them.

  Pharmacists and techs are wonderful - cheerful, often call us by name on our (frequent) visits. They answer questions and offer to check on delayed prescriptions.
