The food is always great at Cava, but if you’ve been to the Cava in Lancaster, you’ll be quite disappointed in this location. While the place is brand new, it just screams dirty and unorganized. I’ve never been in there and not experienced sticky floors, filthy tables, overflowing trash cans, and far too loud music to the point that the workers can’t hear your order.
What really disappoints me is how lazy so many of the line workers are. Slow, uninterested, annoyed, and careless are the words that come to mind - every time I’m in there. Diego is the only one who seems to have his act together.
Better training and management would go a long way to streamline the process of serving customers more efficiently and effectively. I can’t imagine corporate will be happy with this location for very long.

The food was good. I was there around 6:00pm and it was chaotic. Waited 15 minutes for falafels when I was told 5 minutes. They were out of forks and straws. When i told someone, they just looked at me. Told someone else and waited. Luckily my neice grabbed one for me or i dont know when i would have gotten a fork. Wanted to eat inside but no clean tables. Ate outside, and the trash bin was overflowing. Really wanted to like it...

This place has been non stop busy since it opened. I waited in line for a good bit but I didn’t mind. There weee a lot of people. The portions are smaller than compared to other cavas I’ve been too. They forgot my pita bread which is fine because someone happily gave me one as I requested it. However I felt so bad ordering food here from one person looked so miserable. It made me uncomfortable . I know the food industry is hard work ! Believe me but I’m not sure what can be done to give people breaks or what. It was definitely off putting where this would make me think twice from stopping here.

Yikes!
I was very disappointed with my experience. Despite having more than 10 employees working, I still waited over 30 minutes for my food.
I paid $22 for a lamb and avocado bowl, but the quality was unacceptable. The beans were so undercooked they were basically rocks, and the lamb was burnt to a crisp.
The restaurant itself was also poorly maintained. The tables were sticky, the beverage station was a mess, the utensil station was empty, and many of the food options were unavailable.
For the price and the number of employees on duty, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this visit fell far below the standard I would expect.
The price did not reflect the quality and would recommend avoiding this place.

I have gone here multiple times, service is always slow, and several of the times the food was not fresh. One time the roasted vegetables were completely brown and cold. This time I ordered two bowls, both of them were wrong, one had chicken when it was only supposed to be vegetables so i brought it back in and they made a new one but the new one was basically just a half full bowl of lettuce, gave barely any toppings whatsoever. The other bowl was supposed to be greens and grains yet only had lettuce. No one seems to know what they’re doing in there.
