  Extremely Disappointing and Way Overpriced I was genuinely excited when Koch’s Deli came to town, but after my experience today, I won’t be back. I initially dropped in about three weeks ago after giving them a little time to settle in. Walking into an empty deli only to find staff who seemed completely confused and unable to get organized made me turn right around and walk out. Today, I decided to give them another chance and called in an order for a Reuben with extra Russian dressing on the side. Online, they show a picture of a beautifully golden-brown, grilled Reuben sandwich. What I got instead looked nothing like it—it was completely white. The bread felt like it had been run through a toaster just long enough to dry out the top rather than toast or grill it. Also my “extra “Russian dressing was about 2 tablespoons in a little plastic cup, which cost me $.75. Ridiculous. I called, and they told me to bring it back. When I returned, the worker initially said he’d put it on the grill, but then changed his mind and offered to make a fresh one. Four minutes later, he handed me the new sandwich. In four minutes, I can only guess that the corned beef and sauerkraut was heated up in the microwave. When I got home and opened it, the top was only marginally darker, still not properly grilled and GOLDEN and the bottom was so steamy and wet that the entire sandwich collapsed and fell apart while trying to eat it. For nearly $17, this was a complete waste of money and a total disappointment. I WOULD’VE BEEN BETTER OFF GOING TO GOLDEN DAWN! Maybe the original location in Philadelphia knows what they’re doing, but this branch isn't worth it. Never again.

  Bummer.. this Reuben sandwich looks absolutely delicious online however this is the second time I’ve ordered and got the same result. The first time I thought they might’ve accidentally gave me their warm corn beef sandwich instead of the hot Reuben. But after the 2nd time trying, I guess this is just how it is.. no marbled bread and not hot and toasty like you’d expect a Reuben to be. Lots of meat and good flavor, just a let down though.

  I have been there a couple times now. The food is excellent. We did order for lunch at work one afternoon. Waited over an hr when it said 25 minutes. All items were wrong. Asked for a refund which was messed up too. Had to come back in the evening to get correct refund. I have to say the food is excellent that is why we keep coming back, but wish there was a little more sense of urgency. Everyone strolls around like its a walk in the park. Should not take 20 minutes to make 2 hoagies while there is no one else waiting for orders but us staring at them. With all that said I will be back.

  My neighbor talked this place up. Maybe I had my expectations too high. Food was okay, but not as great as some would have you believe. They were having issues with the check-out system. I can understand because whomever programed it doesn't know Pa laws regarding taxation. I was taxed on an item that was only taxable if sold in an eating establishment. There are no tables, chairs or wait staff here. The woman at the register was doing her best. I give her a thumbs up. I give management/owner a thumbs down.

  Everything was easy from the get go. I ordered online for pickup, got my order confirmation, and it was only twenty minutes wait time. When I got there to pick my order up, I was greeted with smiles from a friendly staff. I ordered 3 hoagies and they were terrific. They were packed with meat but not so overstuffed that you couldn't eat it. Definitely plan on being a repeat customer.
