I was in Lancaster for a business trip and saw this restaurant being next to my hotel and decided to check it out and I was so glad I did!!! The whole place was very warm and cozy. I thoroughly enjoyed the food as there were a decent amount of options for both dinner and desert. Service was great and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I definitely recommend and will come back if I am in the area again!

Out of towners, this was our first (attempted and last) visit. The reviews looked promising, except for one that complained about slow service (2 hours). Hmm… It still sounded good, so we booked on OpenTable. Cannot comment on the food as we didn't even get a glass of water. But service...? We arrived on time for our reservation, expecting to be seated in the main dining as requested, noting many open tables there. Instead, we were seated in the very empty and very tight (3 tables, 10 chairs total) cellar/ basement. No cell service. Okay… The host gave us menus, saying, “Amy will be with you soon.” We sat waiting… for “Amy.” Or anyone. We checked our watches. And waited. And waited. After 25 minutes, we decided to leave. With no apology and (more worrisome?) zero look of surprise from the staff when we informed them, it was very confusing. And then…they sent us a “reservation canceled ” email… Really?

We had a GREAT date night! Charming atmosphere, beautiful plants everywhere and super clean. Everything we had was exceptional! It is obvious that a well trained hands on chef runs the kitchen and trains his staff!

Excellent food, reasonable portions. My salmon with polenta cakes and toasted fennel was so delicious and perfectly prepared. Husband's scallops on risotto were likewise perfect. We got cassis mousse for dessert - delicious with a tart edge that we loved. Very prompt and polite service. We sat on the patio and other than the sun in my eyes for about 15 minutes, it was charming with all the plants, lights and curtains. Also felt spacious enough to have a private conversation. We were impressed!
