- SBSara Bernal6 days ago1.0DON’T!!!! Constant bait & switch. They advertise an attractive price, but whether you will get the item advertised for the advertised price in anybody’s guess. If you order online, you might get a surprise substitution of something very different from what you ordered, or something similar but much more expensive. Then when you try to remedy the situation you have to have long and amazingly circuitous conversations with people in the Philippines—no chance of talking to anyone remotely close to the people who actually messed up your order. SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! The Fresh Grocer nearby does a great job with online orders.

The young lady that finally picked up said she would check, but never came back on the line. Called back & gentleman stated he would transfer me to seafood. Held on another ten minutes & eventually called disconnected. Very disappointed as I have been at this particular Acme for quite a few years!

I shop ACME to avoid doordash, then tgey give my order to a doordash driver who doesnt know the area well enough for GPS to help, and cant speak enough English to explain how he's lost. TWICE. That's it, I'll take an Uber to Shop rite from now on.

Right now, my opinion over all from all the local brand supermarkets I've been to, Acme has the best cake / bakery selection, and their deli staff still has that old school deli ethics that I remember from being a kid going to the market with my pops. ❤️
