  What a great find! Traveling with two small dogs. Great outdoor seating. Food was outstanding. Wife had bourbon glazed salmon and I had chicken broccoli mac and cheese. Both were excellent. Wife is gluten free and they were very accommodating. Gluten free chocolate cake was so good! Best of all was Alyssa, our server! She was knowledgeable and just a delightful person. Took great care of us and our two dogs!!

  Three of us were out for a motorcycle ride and we stopped for break and a drink. We sat at the bar since we weren't having a meal. I had a mojito ( gotta learn to muddle the mint). The bartender was very busy, I assume making cocktails for the entire restaurant as he never stopped. He was also training a young lady behind the bar and was very focused on her, not the customers. He provided the three of us with one menu which we shared and finally I spoke up and requested to put in a food order. I ordered an appetizer and a salad, he took the order, entered it into the computer and went back to making cocktails and training. The other two men with me also wanted to order food but it took over 10 minutes to get the bartenders attention again that they both decided not to order out of frustration. We finished our drinks, waiting for MY food order. During that time, we met the owner, Mary Anne, very lovely and cordial woman, friendly and welcoming. After a 40-minute wait, I asked her to check on my food, appetizer and salad. She came back and said there was an error and it was never made. At that point we cancelled my food order and paid for our drinks and left. Bottom line, the bartender must be able to focus on making drinks and taking care of customers who choose to sit at the bar. If he can't, then assign a server to handle the bar or perhaps the owner takes care of bar orders. The food? Who knows, didn't get any. At the very least, after a 40-minute wait and a botched order, they should have wrote off my mojito, but no such offer. Probably won't stop back.

  I wish Benjamin's wasn't an hour away. If it was closer to home I would go weekly. I met here with two friends and we sat outside. We had the best meal in this absolutely beautiful atmosphere. Our server was excellent and she was very attentive.

  Benjamin's offers an elevated dining experience in our little town. If feels like a little getaway. The outdoor seating is beautiful, and the food is always delicious.
