From the moment I arrived, I was met with a remarkable level of professionalism and genuine warmth from every member of your team. The service I received across all departments was truly exceptional. The deli staff demonstrated impressive knowledge and efficiency, making my selections a pleasure. Similarly, the associates throughout the aisles were attentive and eager to assist, ensuring I found everything I needed with ease. Someone stocking the cheeses even looked up a recipe for me because my phone died and I forgot the ingredients. The positive impression continued through to the checkout, where the cashier and customer service representatives were not only efficient but also incredibly pleasant and courteous. It is rare to encounter such consistent dedication to customer satisfaction, and I truly value the welcoming and helpful atmosphere your staff cultivates. Each interaction was marked by pleasantness and respect, which significantly enhanced my shopping trip.   I think it despicable that this store allows open sewage to be visible for weeks at a time in its men's room and that the lock on its sole operational commode is hanging on by the thinnest of threads, perhaps as a result of desperate people attempting to force the door when that stall is occupied. They can renovate the entire store, but don't know how to call a plumber?

  Now using AI cameras that don’t work properly to watch you at check out to make sure you’re not stealing. I got flagged 4 times for missing a scan and the employee repeatedly apologized after watching it.

  Giant’s Hatfield location is a complete disaster. I strongly advise against visiting this store. I used to be a loyal customer, but this visit was the final straw. The most frustrating thing is the constant presence of expired products on the shelves. You have to be extremely vigilant when checking the dates on everything you buy. The produce section is a joke—rotten produce is everywhere, and gnats are crawling all over the place. It’s a nightmare to find fresh meat that hasn’t expired the day before. And here’s the kicker: despite the pictures showing no registers open on a Sunday morning at 8:30 am. It’s all self-checkout, and the line is so long that it’s impossible to scan items without the register sending an alert. I had a full cart, and it was a nightmare trying to scan each item individually without an employee to assist me. Meanwhile you have 25+ employees around the store fulfilling online pickup orders, two employees filling the lottery machine, and no one in customer service. How do you operate a grocery store with checkout lanes closed on the busiest day of the week on a Sunday at 8:30am? I ended up going to ShopRite down the road because Giant either didn’t have the item I was looking for or the product was expired. To my surprise, ShopRite had five registers open, and the produce looked much fresher. Plus, the items I was looking for were not expired.
