No way this is a 4.8 star place. Here's an honest review from someone who actually has taste buds and qualifications. The presentation is nice, eat in or take out. This time I went with take out. The package they put the lunch special in (1/2 sandwich and fries) looks nice but they don't give you any napkins or silverware or ask her if you want it so that becomes problematic. The biggest offender here today are the french fries. They might have the worst french fries in all Hatboro!!! They are these big thick coated fries that hold heat for way too long and then when you bite into them it's mushy dry potato, gross. It makes me think the owner never ate these because I'm not sure how you could own a restaurant and think this is a good tastung French fry. Next thing is the Cheesesteak.......this thing is mid's at best..... I taste of the meat taste low-grade. The taste was more of a sliced and boiled roast beef with gristle taste than proper cheesteak. Also not a lot of cheese. There is definitely a difference when you try something like Del Rossi or Angelo's or Bernari Bro's or Steel Penny........the seeded roll is also strange I appreciate the fresh bread but the yellow tint in the role sort of helps explain why it's soft and chewy like a bagel. All in all this is incredibly disappointing for a place that just screams Philly in your face. I wish they focus more on the food and provide better quality and better tasting food. The cheesesteak felt on par with what you can make at home, bread and all...Unfortunately this place misses the mark for me. The layout could use some help as well.... No where to sit or stand while waiting for take out except to feel in the way. I love feeling awkward after spending money in your store! Designate an area, put a seat or two a long the wall maybe? Just make me feel more welcome. The staff was nice, food came out in a reasonable time and the inside was clean. Owner....please talk to your supplier about a different French fry. Try hand cut or 3/8 skin on anything but what you have please.

Had many cheesesteaks in my lifetime some better than others, but i have to say theres something different about this one. I dont like the new cooper stuff and the fancy things they do now i like a simple provolone steak. I went Sunday with my son and grandson, I asked if they could not chop the meat and leave it whole like steves does. When i got my order i naturally opened the sandwich to take a look and i was pleasantly surprised that they actually use ribeye and not the frozen formed stuff like many do. The seasoning they use isnt just salt and pepper. I talked to the owner, who is a very young man he told me he uses a 8 spice seasoning blend that they make in house. It makes an extraordinary amouth of difference. My son got the chicken vodka sandwich, he claims its the best vodka sauce hes ever had. My grandson got plain chicken wings and he enjoyed them. Best of luck to this young family.

Tried Philly Philly on Main Street in Hatboro, they've only been open a month or so and it shows in the best way, everything still feels fresh and dialed in. Staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. This isn't “fast food”, they make real food, everything to order so it comes out hot and fresh, just build that into your plans. I got their special cheesesteak with whiz, cooper sharpe, and fried onions and it did not disappoint. My dad's helper got a regular cheesesteak with cooper sharpe and fried onions and loved it. My dad tried the drunken chicken, a chicken cheesesteak with vodka sauce, and it was phenomenal, seasoned perfectly. Cheesesteaks, wings, burgers, fries, they've got it all and everything we had was great. We will definitely be back.
I purchased a cheesesteak with fried onions and Cooper cheese. Also a side of onion rings. The cheesesteak was okay. Another location down the street had a better cheesesteak. Meat was bland, cheese wasn't distributed throughout. Roll was pretty good though. Onion rings kn the other hand, awful. They tasted burned and oily, which I feel like in my opinion could be the oil was old and below the temperature it should be. Was not thrilled with this, staff was super nice and helpful though. Overall, I wouldn't go back again, not what I prefer.

This restaurant is in an area about 45 minutes from where I live so I wasn't very familiar with the restaurants, but I was looking for something good for takeout one night after an appointment in the area, and was deciding solely based on the reviews I found on google. This place had the best reviews and it didn't take long to see why! Absolute best cheesesteak I've ever had! I could only eat half of it the first night, and the second night it was just as good. Not only was the food phenomenal, but the service was too. The woman I spoke to on the phone was extremely polite and knowledgeable, and the person behind the counter was very friendly. I will absolutely be going here again! And again and again haha. Highly recommend!
