- VCVictoria CortesMay 23, 20265.0I ordered delivery around 1230pm and waited almost 2 hours with no delivery. I live close to the store anyway so I decided to just go and pick it up. I walked in and the store was VERY BUSY with only 2 people working! They were visibly working very hard and the environment seemed stressful. Both employees greeted me kindly and asked if I was picking up. I explained my situation and they said they did try to call and let me know there was no delivery driver. I did not receive the call but quite frankly, even if they forgot or didn’t, I wouldn’t blame them with how much they had going on! They were so apologetic and said they would make it right away to make it right and added they could supplement my original order for the inconvenience. I politely declined because getting “free stuff” whenever there is an issue with a food/service should not be expected! Unfortunately, it is these days. They would not take no for an answer so I accepted a free cup of Slice Sauce. They made my order quickly and accurately. I confirmed they would still be able to keep my delivery tip because they deserved it and honestly even more than that! They asked me to relay the message that they were looking for help to anyone looking for work - and I will. I’m thankful for their kindness & dedication under stressful circumstances. BE KIND TO FOOD SERVICE WORKERS despite any inconveniences caused to you! They are PEOPLE FIRST! Great job!

This past order I watched the driver drive past my apt and then around the city for over 45 mins - this is after a 20 something long "quality check". Then get a notification my food was delivered when he never stopped by. Had to call the store to have him drop it off. I spent like 60$ on two pizzas, wings, and a soda that were cold and dry. Its not the first time a delivery took way longer than expected. The driver's never listen to the delivery instructions either.
