Stopped by Main Street Meats BBQ while passing through, and it was absolutely worth it. The BBQ was excellent—tender, flavorful, and cooked exactly the way good barbecue should be. The sides were just as impressive, and everything tasted fresh and homemade.
What really stood out, though, was the friendly service. Everyone was welcoming, and you could tell they take pride in what they do. It’s the kind of place that feels like a local favorite for good reason.
If you’re anywhere nearby and craving great barbecue, I highly recommend giving Main Street Meats BBQ a try. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area.
We stood in line and were next to order when staff suddenly announced that they were "suspending orders" and to get a beeper for when they're ready to begin taking orders again. When I went back inside, there was a long line and they were taking orders again. I went to the counter and they took the beeper and told us to go to the back of the line. Would we wait in line only to get to the front and have them declare that they're suspending orders again? Needless to say we left for another restaurant.
I had a lot of barbecue in my lifetime and I can honestly say that this was one of the most delicious and flavorful barbecue I've had. We ordered the Texas Trinity for lunch and it was no joke. You know the rib was so tender that my wife cut the full rib in half with a plastic knife like butter...I was impressed. The Texas Trinity is meant for 2 people but you can easily feed a 3rd. The cornbread and sides outstanding. The Trinity tastes just as good as leftovers for dinner.. 😆

The fool I got was the Dino.Rib, it was so salty I could barely eat it i ask somebody else I know to go get the same thing. It was not salty at all. I know why they did this because of my skin color a living Greentown for. 5 years i worked at a lot of these local business , and I still do as of today, I've never experienced such bad food in my life. That was my first time going there i will have my family go to some where else to get some good barbecue not give us salty food, because our skin color but I sent other people in there. You don't do that.

I've been here three or four times, and I love the food at this place. While all of their meat is good, I'm particularly fond of the brisket. They offer it in both lean and fatty cuts, and I know it's not good for you, but the fatty cut is delicious and tender.
The side dishes are also wonderful. I am particularly enchanted by the street corn, but their baked beans and their cheesy bacon potatoes are also good. All of their sides are good really.
I think that their prices are a little steep, but unless you're a big eater, two people can pretty easily split a single platter and be satisfied, which then makes the price very reasonable. The portions are large, and the side dishes are half pound containers for the most part, so there's plenty to go around.
I try to order ahead either online via their website, or by calling. If you don't, and you go during dinner time, there can be a long wait. When I picked up my food last weekend, if I hadn't called ahead, there was probably a line of 30 people waiting at the register to order. Oh my! But I was able to just pick up my food and go, and it was ready on time.
Outside of dinner time, I've gone and the place has been relatively empty, like most restaurants tend to be (such as between lunch and dinner). And it has been quiet and enjoyable to eat there. There is seating both inside and out, very casual, and picnic style outside. They have a variety of barbecue type sauces at the tables, and to go, although their food really doesn't need it.
Looking forward to going there again!
