I have been to the majority of primo locations in my area and throughout the tristate… because i love a good hoagie made right. Little mom and pop shops can be good but tend to cheap out on meats and give you less. However, the Primos in Glenside run by none other than the darling MARIA, is currently my #1. She handles calls herself, she makes sandwiches, and she explains any queries of the menu, immediately and efficiently. Personally I am always looking for the perfect combo of sharp prov and hot meats but still with prosciutto.. and that is the sharp italian for me. Maria always makes sure my sandwich is made right and makes sure i get the best long hot peppers they have. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, this location and dealing with Maria specifically. And no i’m not related and never knew her until coming to her location. However, Maria has made a lasting impression to the point that i’m writing this review. Couldn’t be more clear, THIS IS THE BEST PRIMOS AROUND. Keep up the great work MARIA!!! and her great team supporting her !

I ordered an Old Italian with hot peppers on a seeded roll. I got home and had no seeded roll, no onions, lettuce or tomato so returned. What is a hoagie without onion, lettuce and tomato? If you DON'T want it, then you say that, otherwise it is default. Anyway, I got a refund and no hoagie. I recommend Mr. Rick's in Jenkintown.

We were very impressed with the service, welcoming atmosphere and cleanliness under this new management. Definitely will be back!
