  Visited for the first time today. I'm not sure when this place opened but it seems fairly new. I like Giant Food Stores. I shop them all the time. This one just has like this creepy industrial vibe I don't like. It's right and cramped. There's not a lot of extra space to move about. It's kinda as if they put a bunch of food stuffs into an open warehouse or abandoned Lowes or Home Depot and called it a food store.

  This used to be one of the better Giants. Not anymore. I was in there a few weeks ago and there was a pallet of raw chicken just sitting out waiting for someone to put it in the refrigerater. Needless to say I didn't buy chicken in there that day. The meat section is also looking a litte rough. Dates are close to expiring on some products. Produce isn't what it used to be. I bought a bag of potatoes and had to throw the whole bag out, because they went bad in only a couple of days. Also, some of the staff are really rude and will just mow you down as you are coming down the aisle with your shopping cart. It never used to be that way. This used to be one of my favorite places to shop.

  We were in town for a softball tournament and we needed to grab some ice for the cooler before our first games. It was a hot one at the field for sure. First time for me in a Giant supermarket. The signage reminded me of Market 32 in MA, but the store brands had the stop and shop logos. I didn't realize they were part of the S&S chain. 🛒 I took a quick look around and they have great variety and competitive prices. Paid for my ice first then grabbed it from cooler in front and then iced down our drinks in our brand new cooler from Target. 🥎🔥

  We were able to find what we needed. The prices are reasonable for our current economy. The only thing is, after around 6-7 pm, they want all the customers to check themselves out. I think they should have a few cashiers. A lot of people struggle with the self check out and they have to go get someone during the process. They need to do better and have some cashiers to ring up the orders.
