I know it's not there fault this store is so short handed I feel bad for the employees this is the first sonic since I left Kentucky I hate to compare it to What I was used to hopefully they will get there but I'm sorry to Say I will not return my memory of sonic is gone maybe one day the crew really tries hard I have respect for them

This is no way a slam towards the hard working people at Sonic in Erie, it’s just I’m pretty sure they need more people working. I stupidly placed a mobile order on our way there and upon arrival saw how slammed they were. It took almost an hour to get our food and the order was not correct but it was not worth it for me to wait even longer. The food was cold when we did get it. I felt terrible for the employees I know they were trying their hardest, the one was on the verge of tears. 💔

DONT FOME HERE!!!
Sat at the ordering box for 15 minutes and hit the butt in four times for them to not answer. There was no cars on either side of us and they came up and they got immediately taken.
During ordering the guy stopped talking to us and had I kid you not like a 2-minute hold to the point where we had to say hello. Are you still there.
Had no good customer service when ordering.
Then after our food we sat and waited for 20 minutes.
Then when we rang the bell we told them what was going on and we asked for a refund. After asking for a refund they didn't know what number car we were and what were order was and then told us if we wanted a refund we had to come inside to get it.
After my husband went inside to get the refund they told us they could not give us a refund because the manager wasn't there.
Then they gave us our order and said that if we wanted the refund we would have to call back in the morning.
My husband then had to go back inside because the food was completely cold, old and hard and we got food that we didn't order and we were missing items.
Then we were told we couldn't have some of the items we made because they ran out.
Then the guy running the place called the manager and they approved the refund.
SHAME on the manager of this place because your staff are suffering and you cant bother to show up to help your staff.

This is supposed to be a quick drive in/takeout. My husband and I were traveling to Pittsburgh Pa, wanted to stop at Sonic in Erie but wanted to save time as we still had quite a long ride ahead of us. So we placed an order online, two burgers, mozzarella sticks, a shark bite and blue coconut slush. We go thru the drive thru telling them we placed an order online for 6:30. The cashier tells us to pull ahead & they’d bring the order right out. 6:50 we call them and say we’ve been waiting for 20 minutes and ask if they’ve forgotten our order, they apologize and hangup, not even asking the vehicle we are in. 7pm we are still waiting, for 30 minutes at this point, and we still have to travel A GREAT DISTANCE. pushing us back an hour, while 30 customers in the drive thru are served behind us. my husband goes inside to figure out whats going on, there was no sympathy, no apologies, no concern, they bring us our COLD food at 7:15. if youre looking to sit here for about an hour and dont have any other plans then id say this would be a great option. also, the burgers were to have no onions or pickles and were loaded with onions and pickles.the service was awful, wait time was awful even ORDERING AHEAD, even the food wasnt correct. very disappointed with Erie Peach st location Sonic and employees there.

I have loved sonic since I was a child, unfortunately I do not have one near where I live. I was instantly excited and so were my kids when we saw the one in Erie, PA. We went in to order and I ordered for everyone so everyone else could sit outside with the dog. The wait to get our food was not exactly quick but it wasn't outrageous either. Once we had our food I started looking at everything in the bags and quickly realized almost nothing was right. After looking at the receipt I saw the employee rang EVERY order in wrong and didn't even place one person's order in at all. The employee looked like he didn't care to deal with me or the family before me, barely saying anything, messing with his shirt, standing slightly off to the side from the register tipping his head so his hair was in his face. I wish there was a screen to see what he rang up as I ordered so I could've corrected it from the start.
