The help can be middling at best- the last time I went the cashier didn't even see me because he was scrolling on his phone, and sighed loudly when he had to get up to help me. I've seen turtles show more speed and urgency.
- RSR SMay 5, 20264.0I have been shopping here for years What they consistently do well: Love their points/rewards system to freebies, and gas/groceries discounts. Quality produce, usually everything is stocked, friendly cashiers and overall staff, organized aisles. When shopping pickup, it's always a smooth process. Where they fall short: THE BATHROOMS, EVERY TIME. Sheesh, you would think eventually someone would do a deep clean. EVERY visit unfortunately the bathroom is not clean and could definitely use attention as it's only late morning. You can't control how some customers leave the condition of the bathroom but it's obviously never checked on throughout the day... It's a reflection of their store which I don't understand because the rest of the store looks clean and updated so I can't believe that even when their corporate visits, nothing is done. I wish they offered more healthy and short ingredient list products. Their generic store brand line of products are hit or miss as far as quality ingredients(a lot contain GMO or foreign ingredients) but can often be worth the price if that doesn't matter to you. Are there "better" grocery stores? Sure, if you want to make the drive to Wegmans or Whole Foods. But for the price, and shopping experience in the area, this is the best grocery store in Ephrata!
