Subway has historically been the reliable option for a quick, custom sandwich, but recent visits highlight a growing gap between cost and value. The overall portion size feels noticeably downsized while prices have climbed. Paying more for a sandwich that leaves you hungry undermines the primary reason to choose a fast-food sub chain. The ingredients fell flat. The meat, bread, and toppings were distinctly substandard, missing the fresh quality that used to define their brand. The single bright spot was the customer service. The employee was friendly, efficient, and welcoming, handling the transaction with great professionalism despite the quality of the food. While great frontline staff is always appreciated, a friendly smile can't compensate for overpriced, underwhelming food. Subway gets one final chance to deliver a solid meal, but if the diminished portions and poor quality persist, it's time to find a new local sub shop.

I’m not sure I went to Subway today. I think I accidentally entered a sacred order of sandwich craftsmen. The employee working was incredibly quiet and focused. No unnecessary conversation, no chaos, no dramatic production. He simply looked at the ridiculous double-steak sandwich I had ordered and seemed to immediately understand the assignment. And honestly, I appreciated that more than he probably realized. I’m not always the most social person, and sometimes a simple, comfortable interaction where nobody feels pressured to force conversation is exactly what I need. It was one of those rare customer-service interactions that somehow felt relaxed without feeling unfriendly. And then the craftsmanship began. He actually removed some of the inner bread so everything would fit properly instead of trying to force an unreasonable amount of steak into a loaf that clearly had not prepared itself for this responsibility. The sandwich stayed together, everything was distributed properly, and it tasted fantastic. But the wrapping is where things became supernatural. This man wrapped my sandwich so perfectly that when I got home, I could not find the seam in the paper. I rotated it. I inspected both ends. I questioned my understanding of basic geometry. Eventually I discovered that the ONLY visible seam had been perfectly concealed underneath the Subway sticker. Sir. At that point I no longer felt like a customer opening lunch. I felt like an archaeologist attempting to access a sacred artifact that had been sealed by monks several hundred years ago. The entire interaction was almost completely silent, too. He handed me the finished sandwich, I thanked him, and there was this strange moment of mutual understanding: “You made sub.” “Yes. Sub.” And then we simply went our separate ways. I left a $5 tip before I even discovered the hidden wrapping seam. Afterward, I realized he had absolutely earned it. Excellent sandwich, excellent attention to detail, and apparently world-class sandwich wrapping. 10/10. I would gladly return to receive the Sacred Sub again.

We decided to stop by Subway for our dinner and what a great idea it was. William who happens to be the manager showed us why he is the manager. He was kind, generous and very knowledgeable in the art of subway mastery. We will definitely come to this Subway again !

Worker tells me the bread “has sat out for awhile & is a little stale, but he would eat it”, we decided to get it anyways. Worker didn’t bother to give us a discount for the stale bread & didn’t offer anything to make up for it. Charged $20 for a turkey footlong with stale bread & 6 cookies. I won’t return here. These places want super high inflated top dollar prices for low quality food. I see why some of the subways are shutting down around here.
