  They make burritos like 2/3 the size of what you get at the 228 location. Someone’s doing it wrong; my money is on this place.

  It kills me to write this but the quality of this location pver the past 12-18 months has really gone down hill. They went from one of the BEST Chipotles i have ever eaten at to the chips are never salted, I have a 25% chance the rice isnt cooked and feels like I bit down on bone, always getting stems or hard things in my food that I dont notice till they stabbed my gums. I absolutely loved this location but it has slowly become just like the monroeville location. Getting my food wrong is expected, you just hope its not too bad.

  Filthy! Literally every empty table needed to be wiped off, and there were only 4 customers in there. I had to wipe off my own table. Food scraps all over the prep line. And the chips were stale.

  While the food was good I am surprised that this location has passed health inspection. The employee making my burrito bowl had gloves on but picked up the lettuce and cheese with his hands and then took money out of the register wearing the same gloves to hand me my change. ! Not sanitary! Also all of the tables were dirty. The area for the utensils and straws had trash on the counter. This is definitely a problem with poor management. I won’t be coming back to this location.

  Good God Chipotle, get your act together. I am in a constant battle for my teenage soul, as my wife rightfully will never eat a Chipotle again. She had an experience at a different location that tasted like straight-up cleaning products (and she found foreign material in her food) so there is no amount of persuasion I can employ to get her to try even a different Chipotle ever again. But me? Every time I have some time where I eat solo, I think back to my fond childhood memories in Kensington, lining up at the Chipotle even before the doors would open, getting prepped to slam a Quesarito or just an overflowing bowl with the tortilla on the side for maximum delight. I wage this war against my wife's factual complaints because I want that delicious Chipotle taste again, and every time I visit a location, I'm convinced a little more than she's right and you guys are abominable. A few months ago I stop by the one on 19 and all the chicken is fatty and stringy. I stop by the other one today on 228 and the chips come out looking like Walter White cooked them. Why are the salt crystal so large that you'd think I pulled a sieve out of the Dead Sea? Do you believe it's fun for me to be wrong every time I insist that it's going to be good this time, we just got a few bad meals and they're the exception, not the rule? By the way, this salty dog bag of chips was the SECOND bag I received. The first was so moist that I actually went back in and kindly asked for a replacement, because it was inedible TO START. Is moist a good adjective for tortilla chips? Here's the rule: stop making bad Mexican food. Stop skimping on portions and buffering bottom lines, sucking deep the lifeblood of the American populace. Some of us gave you the benefit of the doubt so many times you made us being to question our own competency and sanity, believing no chain could ever stay in business so long serving up an anathema of such repulsive proportions. Honestly, I don't even want the meal comped, because it might convince you that you can be exonerated through exculpation and I can be bought. Why don't you instead send me a treatise on how you'll improve, and then we can talk about ever eating Chipotle again. I'll attach a picture to this review, although I am reticent since the DEA might want to know my location. Is there a reason I cannot find my review publicly......?
