Went to Flanigans on Thursady 7/9/26 to meet my gf for dinner after she'd left work. Had an opportunity to engage with Jenny. She was both professional and excellent. She closed out and was replaced by 2 bartenders. They never acknowledged me or said hello. No service. While waiting for my gf, asked to speak with management. I spoke with the manager, voiced my concerns. Manager was very attentive and offered a complimentary drink. Bartender brings the drink and proceeds to say to me. "My manager says to give you a complimentary drink". Suggesting that she never would have served me if she had not been asked by management. When you have 2 not 1 bartenders serving and neither 1 acknowledges you for more than 1 hour. It's intentional. I will add that the place is impeccably clean and its a nice friendly environment. The service industry is tough. There are tons of unappreciative customers. I'm not 1 them.

You can't go wrong here. They've been around forever, insane wings, great menu ranging from healthy to comfort foods, and every beer you desire. Staff continues to be amazing- knowledgeable and great attitude.

We love the Boathouse and visit often for whatever the menu has to offer. I have never had anything I didn't like . Even the atmosphere is enjoyable. Sports are always on which makes for a great way to spend time with my husband that loves every sport you can imagine. I didn't take a photo, but last night we ordered the spare ribs. I'll say nothing else except, I will be getting those again and again. All this time, that's one thing we have never ordered until last night. Chefs Kiss for sure!

Owner’s Conduct Made This an Easy One-Star Review On June 6, 2026, my son and I visited The Boathouse (above Below Deck Bottle Shop) during the Conshohocken Arts Festival. We chose this location based on a prior positive experience he had earlier in the year. We purchased beers from the restaurant and sat at an outdoor table on an extremely hot afternoon. Within minutes, a woman approached, crouched down, and abruptly told us, “Tables are for people eating food.” I explained that we had just purchased drinks and would be happy to move if the table was needed. Instead of acknowledging that, she repeated the statement in a raised, confrontational tone. This interaction made little operational sense. The restaurant was largely empty—more than half of the outdoor tables were open, and the interior seating area appeared similarly underutilized. No one offered menus or attempted to convert us into food customers, despite it being close to lunchtime. The most concerning part came next: I was informed that this individual was the owner. That fundamentally changes the nature of the issue. This was not an isolated lapse in service—it reflects how the business is being run and how customers are treated at the highest level. It is worth noting that another server did apologize, but also indicated there was nothing she could do. That reinforces the point: this behavior is not accidental, it is systemic. Hospitality businesses depend on creating a welcoming environment and building repeat customers. In this case, the opposite occurred. A paying customer was treated dismissively, without cause, and without any attempt to recover the situation. Since that day, I have already redirected multiple group outings elsewhere, and I will continue to do so. There are many strong alternatives in Conshohocken that understand how to treat customers professionally and respectfully. If you are considering this location, I would strongly encourage you to evaluate other options nearby.
