We were headed home and decided to stop to eat. We didn't want to pay a fortune. We pulled up ember + ale. It looked nice. Upon ordering we immediately noticed the freshness of the vegetables. The unique subtleties in the different American fare. The food had such an amazing pop. The staff was more than helpful. My boyfriend asked if they had coffee. The staff said no but Nidhi the owner came over and said she would be happy to make the Indian coffee that they serve for themselves. It was so incredible. Coffee without a bitter taste. This may be a chain but they treat you like a family member serving you the best food and ingredients that they have. We highly recommend this place for people who want to experience what a restaurant has to offer that caters to its guests. Thank you embers you made our afternoon. T & E

We absolutely loved Ember+ Ale. We came about an hour before close after playing at Kids Empire and I’m so glad we did. The food and service was phenomenal. It was my son’s birthday. The manager Nithi over heard us saying it was his birthday and brought him out a special treat and played song for him to dance to. He was thrilled. The bartender, manager and hostess were excellent. The wild mushroom pizza was to die for. We also got pepperoni pizza and brisket cheese steak, also absolutely delicious. Thank you for making our boys day extra special. We will definitely be back!

Went in for the first time last Friday, had been wanting to try it and was looking forward to the experience. Went in around 6pm, was decently busy. They had two servers on the floor and one bartender, probably fine for the size of the place and the level of busy they were. It was seat yourself, which is fine.
Took a little while for the server to come over, but nbd. Placed our orders, my boyfriend ordered a beer and I ordered the Negroni off their cocktail menu. Drinks come and I can immediately tell my drink is wrong, it is obviously a Manhattan, but I take a sip just in case they make their negroni real weird, and nope, it's *definitely* whiskey. I flag the server down and let her know, figure maybe she misheard me, again no big deal, she immediately gets defensive, insists that she rang in the correct drink and that the drink should be correct. I tell her it's definitely whiskey, not gin, so she takes the drink back to the bar. Her and the bartender exchange some words, she comes back over and tells me "that's just how they make their negroni."
At this point I'm kind of too confused to even be upset, but again I say that cannot be correct, so she flusteredly takes the drink back up, the bartender argues with her some more before finally dumping the drink and remaking it. What comes back to the table was also NOT a negroni, by the traditional standards or by their own menu's description (which the bartender was reading behind the bar as she was remaking the drink, so not sure how she *still* got it wrong), but at that point I was just happy that it was gin and not whiskey so I just let it slide.
Our food came out some time later and the pizza was fine, not great. Seemed under done on the top even tho the crust was kind of burnt. I've definitely had better. Place has fast casual counterservice vibes/decor, but high end pizza place prices that did not match the quality of the food nor the service we received. Looking at other reviews seems like the place can be hit or miss. Ultimately, I put the blame on management - staff your place appropriately and if you can't be bothered to make sure your bartenders know how to make *your own* featured cocktails, at least make sure they know the difference between gin and whiskey, and that a negroni is served on the rocks, not up lol
Restaurant Review
One star because zero stars isn’t an option.
I ordered a pizza and cheesesteak for pickup. I received a notification that my order was ready after about 25 minutes, so I went to the restaurant. However, I still had to wait another 40 minutes before my order came out. What made it even worse was that a table that arrived after me received their food before I did.
Then came the biggest issue: they only gave me the pizza and told me they didn’t have the ingredients for my cheesesteak, so they would need to refund it. I was honestly shocked. There was no apology. Instead, I was told that their chef was injured and a sous chef was running the kitchen. I understand that unexpected things happen, but that doesn’t explain why I was notified that my order was ready when it clearly wasn’t.
And to make matters worse, the pizza was cold.
At that point, I didn’t even want to argue—I just left. To be fair, the pizza itself was actually good, even though it was cold.
The food may be decent, but the service was terrible and the management seemed extremely disorganized. This was one of the worst pickup experiences I’ve had.

We visited Ember + Ale for the first time recently, and wow! The restaurant looks awesome, with great furnishings and the overall design is excellent! The designer paid attention to every detail in the makeover from how the previous restaurant looked.
The food was also so good!!! We tried the pizzas, pretzels, meatballs, and wings! The various sauce options were really tasty. The hottest habanero so is really hot and really good!
We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!
