  We've been to Chow Bistro a handful of times and it's typically pretty good. The inside space is really loud, especially if it's somewhat crowded. We ate outside. You do have to deal with the traffic noise but I would take that to conversations and loud cackling! Their outdoor patio needs some work and looks kind of junky these days. Putting in a new paver patio would be huge and more comfortable tables and chairs are needed. Service was okay but the kitchen was really slow for a Friday night. We were over an hour getting our main entrees. We got the fried cheese appetizer with a bruschetta topping which was very good,. My husband got the pork chop and I got the Tuscan salmon. Both dishes I'd probably grade a B. Green beans were way undercooked and not seasoned at all. For dessert we got the chocolate lava cake which was not lava cake at all. There was no molten lava in the middle and it was served cold. It was basically a spongy chocolate cake with some vanilla cream in the middle with chocolate sauce on it. Very disappointing. In hindsight we should have got the peach crumble! All in all it was an average experience but pretty reasonable at under $100 for all the food we got. It's great you can bring your own wine too! Weekends and holidays we definitely have had slower service.

  When we’re in town this is our spot. Service, food And atmosphere are good for us. Will be back on our next visit. Cheers.

  The food at Chow Bistro was just okay, especially considering the prices. The portions and flavors were passable, but nothing really stood out or felt memorable for what we paid. It wasn’t bad, just not impressive enough to justify the higher cost. The staff, however, were very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. They checked on us regularly, made sure our drinks were full, and were happy to answer questions about the menu. Their pleasant attitude definitely added to the overall experience. The ambiance in the restaurant was quite nice as well. The space felt comfortable and well-decorated, with a relaxed vibe that made it a good place to sit and talk. It’s the kind of environment that works well for both a casual night out and a slightly more special occasion. Overall, the experience at Chow Bistro was generally good, but the food quality fell a bit below expectations for the amount we paid. With such a nice setting and friendly service, I was hoping the dishes would match the rest of the experience. Unless the menu improves, it feels a bit hard to fully recommend based on value alone.
