  This is the third time we have had issues with the deli department. The robust woman who cuts the meats each time has huffed while placing an order. Then when done throws the meat on the counter. We have only dealt with her three times it's usually very kind and friendly employees back there. We spend over $10,000 a year in giant and do not appreciate being treated that way while spending hard earned money. Apparently management could careless about this so seriously thinking about switching supermarkets. Unexcusable behavior. As I said it's usually very friendly employees in each department, but this one lady is over and beyond rude. Not trying to get someone fired but management needs to step up and have a talk with her because they are going to lose 10 grand a year.

  I placed a Giant Direct order Friday and picked it up Saturday 5/30/26. When placing the order with a coupon deal from a couponing page my total came to $1.30. I used $1 off that I had in points. Today I look at my account and I was charged a total of $10.43. I called giant direct and was told to call customer care, so I did. I was told that the total given was only an estimate and there is no way to know what it will actually be until they have picked the order. Now this isn’t my first online order in general I have used Walmart multiple times as well as target and I understand that totals can change based on item availability and whether you ordered items that are priced by weight. However, I did not order anything priced by weight and the item that was substituted was the same price as my original item. I am very disappointed in the customer service I received because I was dismissed and told that there is no way to know what my total will be until the order has been placed. This seems incorrect considering the system knows the cost of the items I am ordering. I also have multiple people who frequently use Giant Direct and their order totals are always the same unless they had a substitution that was more or less than the original item or if they bought something priced by weight.
