Ordered food at 4:30pm for 5:20pm pick up. Waited in line for 30mins didn’t get food till 5:45pm. Got a salad bowl with dressing, chicken bowl and 2 quesadillas one with cheese and one with chicken and cheese. Salad came with no dressing and they put the honey chipotle chicken instead of the normal chicken also forgot fajitas veggies, chicken bowl also got the honey chipotle chicken instead of normal chicken, and the quesadillas with chicken got the spicy chicken instead of normal chicken. I get they are new and figuring things out but if they are out of something or need to adjust they should ask instead of just doing what they want.

So I placed an order for a pick up at 4:20 yesterday. I walked in and the order was still being made. (There were two other customers in the store.) I watched the woman presumably working the window literally scrape the bottom of the pans to barely make my families order. And as I feared, I payed almost 20$ for a barely a scoop of rice, very few pieces of dry steak ( I ordered double meat. ) with the saddest amount of cheese and literally two drips of queso. All scraped from the bottom of the pans. The food in the bowl I received didn't even cover the bottom of the bowl. My family's food was more of the same, barely anything in it, my kids steak quesadilla had literally 2 pieces of steak on it, wife had almost 0 queso or cheese and hard unripe avocado in their guac. And again, I watched you lady, scrape and barely even make our order properly. If you need proper management in this location, I'd be more than happy to oblige. Oh also, I'd tell your employees to not leave their sanitation buckets and rags around the dining area floor and tables, that's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

The new Chipotle in Carbondale was a mess. Only three employees were visibly working, with no chicken, no chips, and pinto beans so dried out they looked refried. A fourth employee stayed hidden in the to-go section until checkout. They were scraping the sides of the guacamole container and still charged full price for barely any. I felt bad for the workers trying to keep up because this looked like a management and preparation failure. The service was terrible, the atmosphere was worse, and the entire location felt completely unprepared. The food still tasted like Chipotle, but the overall experience was awful.

Ordered online, get there to pickup my food and it hadn’t been made yet even though online it said it was completed. Then after waiting at least 30 minutes. Get home and extras that I paid for were not included in my order such as guacamole and sour cream. Ordered brown rice and got white. Sofrito was chewy. Chips were stale. Terrible! I was giving Chipotle another chance since this one was new but now I know to stay away. Will drive to Pancheros in Montage Mountain instead. When I addressed my concerns online the chatbot said it couldn’t help me and when I contacted through email I still haven’t heard anything back. How do you pay for stuff that isn’t received and they don’t want to refund your money. Done

I don’t expect a five-star dining experience from a fast-casual restaurant, but I do expect a well-run operation that delivers consistent quality. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. I ordered a kids’ quesadilla, a regular quesadilla, and a chicken burrito. Right from the start, there were noticeable operational issues. The employee taking my order didn’t know how to make a kids’ quesadilla and had to leave the line to ask for help. It ultimately took multiple employees to figure it out. When I changed one of the quesadillas from a kids’ meal to a regular order, another employee commented that they could get written up for changing orders. Whether that’s true or not, those internal policies shouldn’t become part of the customer’s experience. The burrito itself was acceptable until it came time to wrap it. It ended up being double-wrapped, completely flattened, and difficult to eat. Checkout was another point of frustration. The cashier was cleaning tables, so there was an unnecessary wait before anyone was available to ring me up. I also had to remind the cashier about the items that came with the kids’ meal. Those details should already be part of the standard process. I also noticed that online, drive-thru, and walk-in orders were all being prepared on the same line. During busy periods, that seemed to slow service for customers who were already inside the restaurant. What stood out most wasn’t a single mistake—it was the lack of consistent systems and training. The staff seemed to be doing their best, so I don’t place the blame solely on them. This felt like a management and operational issue. A new restaurant is expected to have a few growing pains, but basic procedures—such as training employees on menu items, ensuring cashiers know what’s included with each meal, and creating workflows that don’t bottleneck the line—should already be in place. I genuinely hope this location improves because it’s convenient and I’d like to return. Right now, though, the overall experience left me feeling that the restaurant wasn’t set up to consistently deliver the level of service customers should reasonably expect.
