The deli counter employees are horrible. They ignore all customers like it’s their job. When you finally get their attention, they are so unhappy to work. After much time being ignored today, we gave up and went to Giant. The deli counter employees are going to ruin this store.

It's a smaller grocery store compared to shop rite down the road, but it still has lots of choices. Higher prices but the meats and produce is good, and the acme brands are comparable to the name brand foods

I personally do not like giving bad reviews unless my experience is that bad. This review is based on a culmination of experiences rather than just 1. I live in the area and really wanted this grocery store to be my main one and succeed but it has always been hit or miss, which is extremely scary to say with a grocery store where you are consuming their products and groceries. To name a few bad experiences, the one where we bought red onions when we first moved here and the inside was rotted. We went back to get another, only to find they were all rotted inside. Two recent encounters were cherries and ground beef. The California cherries which are actually in peak season around now (early/mid may), with almost half ending up being brown and mushy. I hate that I had to inspect each and every cherry to figure out what I can toss versus keep. As for the ground beef that was recently bought. They looked good in store, but when we brought it home, put it in the fridge immediately (I don't like to mess around with refrigerated products. They always get immediately refrigerated or frozen upon arrival), and left it overnight. We woke up to the raw ground beef immediately went bad, sour and pungent. It was honestly the first time I've ever smelled something like that in ground beef. The only good side to this story is that acme customer service did give me credit for the refunded meat, which I used to buy NEW ground beef only to come home and find it is also pungent and went bad while sitting on the shelves. Safe to say, I will travel the extra distance and mile(s) to the acme in Newtown Square which has been immensely more consistent and safer to consume their produce. Please do better for the safety and sake of the community that live here.

Tired of this deli and their inability to cut slices of meat.
