    This might be user error but we did not take “sweet sauce” at face value. This was the worst thing we have ever had. Ragu with a scoop of white sugar. Have your insulin ready if you order this, Willy Wonka wouldn’t even eat it. Threw out both pizzas after a few bites, I didn’t even want it in my house. However - if a cloyingly sweet pizza is your thing, the people here were very nice and the service was good.

    I’ve been coming to Franzone’s in Bridgeport for many years, and it’s always just as amazing as the last time I ordered! Sam, the owner, is fantastic, and the entire staff is always so friendly and welcoming. But the pizza is what it’s all about! If you love a sweet sauce, you will LOVE Franzone’s. It’s a family recipe that hasn’t changed a bit over the years—and honestly, why mess with perfection? Consistently delicious, great people, and one of those local places that keeps you coming back year after year. Definitely a Bridgeport favorite!

    Food Quality The pizza was excellent. I hadn’t had it in years since the Manayunk location closed, so I was especially looking forward to it, and it did not disappoint. Service Experience Service could have been better. Our waitress appeared to be on her phone majority of the time, and it often took multiple attempts to get her attention. This made service feel slow, particularly given that the restaurant was not busy. Overall Recommendation I would return for the pizza, but I hope the service is more attentive in the future.

    Serving an iconic sandwich. Friendly service great food. The waitress even suggested pepper relish it was great on the steak and the zep. I will be back the pizza smelled fantastic
