- RGRobert GonzalezApr 1, 20261.0Brought my two 7 year old daughters in for dinner and kids ice cream for a treat to eat in. Food is what you’d expect from any DQ or fast food hamburger place. Service was very poor. They should take some pages out of chik fil a’s playbook or even McDonald’s. Disorganized which is reflection more on the management than the young and underpaid employees. Took over 20 minutes and me going to ask to get my kids food. They gave me the food in bags not even basket or trays despite us ordering it as eat in. Guess they’d expect us to eat off the table or dump it on the flattened out bag and eat off of those. Not too difficult for them to figure this out and execute it when these other chains can pull it off. If anything give up on bringing people’s food to them just have customer take it from the counter to their table so at least that minimizes forgotten orders. The only silver lining for me is I don’t eat fast food anymore myself and rarely bring me kids for it. DQ of course mainly known for its ice cream but if it’s going to do food they can figure out how to make and serve it efficiently. It’s been over a decade since I worked in restaurant industry but they should really cover my bill tonight just as a consultant fee for pointing out how to improve their workflow.
