  Brutal! We’d waited for this location to open, so Sunday dinner felt like the moment. It wasn’t. Eight customers in the place, and the service still managed to feel like a burden to everyone involved. The woman on the food line informed us she wouldn’t be making tacos for us. No explanation — just an exhausted refusal, like we’d asked for something unreasonable. Behind her, six or so staff stood in clusters, chatting, completely unbothered. Another couple in line turned around and left. We did the same. Do yourself a favour — drive to Roots Natural Kitchen in State College instead.

  My husband and I ordered burrito bowls. When it was my turn in line, I ordered a burrito bowl. The worker then took out a tortilla and started warming it. I thought she was warming it for the customer currently being checked out, maybe because they had ordered an extra tortilla. I asked, “Is this for a burrito bowl?” She said yes, and I replied, “Oh, I didn’t mean to order a tortilla with my burrito bowl.” She then took the tortilla out, threw it away while rolling her eyes, and told me, “Next time, when you order a burrito bowl, say bowl.” In all my years of eating at Chipotle, I have never had this issue. A burrito bowl is exactly what it is called on the menu.

  The food was lukewarm at best, there were multiple slip ups by the staff, the food i ordered was wrong and parts were incomplete. Like when I order stuff, you'd think it'd be prepared in a timely manner, but everyone was standing around or talking while preparing ONE. SINGLE. ORDER. never, in my years of life, have I had to wait damn near an hour just to get an INCORRECT ORDER. and no way to contact support for my messed up order either is just awful. I will not be eating here again. The service time was absolutely unacceptable. And for that many mess ups in an order, you'd think there'd be some compensation. But no, you'll be sorely mistaken.

  I was so excited for this location and unfortunately after this visit I left very disappointed. So to say the least my first experience was HORRIBLE. I placed an order at 5:38pm for 5:50 pick up. I went inside at time of pick up completely expecting some form of a delay. Well 2 hours and 15 minutes pass and I still had no order. The manager then proceeded to have those of us waiting on mobile pick up get into the walk in line and once more order our food. The manager was also very impolite to the customers and never once had the courtesy to let folks walking in know of this significant delay. It seems they were very unprepared for opening this location. I will leave a little positive on the 2 younger employees(a younger male and younger blonde female) the two of them were very calm despite the clear distress and at all times very polite to the large amount of upset customers. Kudos to you two 👏 I really hope improvements will be made in the near future for this location.

  Extremely long lines due to being overwhelmingly understaffed. I don’t know who manages this location, but they should really be trained (and maybe on-site helping) to understand what it takes to manage a “fast” food restaurant that just opened. The two teenagers working (second day on the job) were working hard and doing their best (they get the 5 stars for service), but only one was working the entire walk-in line while the other was working drive-through and online orders. So one worker had to make each person’s entire order and run the cash register, then go back for the next patron. I’ve never been to a Chipotle that did not have 2 or even 3 people working that line. Seriously mismanaged. Whoever is manager for this location, do better!
