The young lady answering the phone was less than enthusiastic and answered by saying “Primo’s, We close at 8:00”…. I said ok, I’d like to order two sandwiches. “Deep Sigh” on the other end of the phone. I order a Caesar sandwich. Her response “By the time I turn the oven on, it will be 8:00”…. I said I didn’t know that was a hot sandwich. How about the Schwartz’s? “Deeeeper sigh” “Fine, Which one”???? No thanks, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Food service 101. If you want to walk out at 8:00 close at 7:30. You take order until closing time and close with plenty of time to clean and prep for the next day.

I walked in right before they closed (unaware they closed at 8pm) around 7:50. She was on the shorter side and a bit younger. But me unaware they were closing, she started making me feel like I was the dumbest person alive and had poor customer service skills. I don’t know if she was just having a bad day or what, but that’s no way to treat a customer. I was denied service and was told they are closed before 8pm.
