We hosted our Son's Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at the Spring House Tavern. The food was great, the service was perfect and we all enjoyed ourselves. We had 30 total guests and there was plenty of room. Pricing was straightforward and easy to understand. Highly recommend.

Can’t rate. Walked to this place on Main St only to discover they were closed even when their website made it seem like they were very much open. Take the website down if you’re out of business or closed long term. Some sort of zoning placard out front. Who knows? We sure don’t. Don’t waste your time.

This restaurant is phenomenal from the greeters all the way to the bus workers. Everyone has a pleasant, welcoming demeanor. The food has lots of flavor and was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the Jambalaya and the Crab Cakes.

A Must-Visit for History Lovers! Incredible Cellar Dinner. If you are visiting Gettysburg, The Dobbin House Tavern is an absolute must-visit! This spot is a real treat for history lovers. The building itself dates back to 1776, and learning about the fascinating history behind it—including its role as a stop on the Underground Railroad—adds so much depth to the experience. We ate downstairs in the cozy, candlelit Springhouse Tavern cellar, which has an amazing, authentic colonial atmosphere. The food was just as spectacular as the vibe. The French Onion Soup: Absolutely amazing. It comes piping hot with a thick layer of perfectly melted, gooey cheese on top. The Drinks: I paired my meal with their bottled root beer, which was excellent and fit the old-school tavern feel perfectly. You get great food, incredible service, and a piece of living history all in one stop. Don't miss this place when you are in town!
