- GGGarySep 4, 20262.0Overall disappointing. Dined in restaurant. Air conditioning not working very well, temperature inside was 85 degrees. Beer from the tap was warm. The server to her credit was very good, promptly brought out my pizza which was still very hot from the oven. Not thrilled that I was provided a plastic knife and fork. Pizza was above average, but not worth sitting in an uncomfortable dining area and eating with plastic utensils.

Luckily, I checked the pizza. I paid almost $30 for extra toppings. The pizza in the box was a plain cheese pizza…a small. A very nice employee who was making a pizza, offered to make the correct one. He was very nice. That’s why I gave 5 stars for service. The pizza was delicious!!!! The burger, I was told, tasted like fish. The breadsticks were dry and there was only one sauce. This was unfortunately not the first issue that I’ve encountered with this restaurant. The staff is usually pretty friendly, but the two times I’ve ordered from them, they’ve given me the wrong food. I ordered a vegetarian pizza last time and the one they sent was a meatball pizza. We had to go pick up the “correct “ one, but it was still wrong. Rather than wait forever, we left. I will not be returning to any Caliente’s restaurant.
