You really can’t call WVV a hidden gem since it’s right alongside I-5, but it is a gem for sure ! We always enjoy a great wine tasting there, and their food service is top notch as well ! We enjoyed lunch there this week, and had great service from our server Jessica - very knowledgeable about the wines and stories behind the vineyards that the wines come from , and a very fun and upbeat personality to make the day all that more memorable ! Be sure to make time to visit this Oregon class act !

I love, love, loved our tour of the Willamette Valley Vineyards. Nelli was very attentive, patient, and informative wine ambassador who made us feel special. She did a great job of getting to know us before the tour so that she was able to choose the perfect wines for our tastings.
Because of the history she gave concerning how the vineyard was started, I almost feel as though I would be comfortable meeting Jim, himself. Thank you!

This is probably the best vineyard near Portland in terms of great wine, the best view point from tasting room and food. My fourth visit here and if you come here with sunny weather, make certain that you have plenty of time to enjoy the wine, view and exquisite meal.
The food they serve is top notch; it's not light meal or snack items that you get at other nearby wineries. These are 4 to 5 star items. It might take time for you to receive your meal if it is during busy hours, but it tells you that the cook concentrates on making a meal at a time. You will not be disappointed.

First things first, Avery is the absolute best!! My boyfriend and I walked in, no reservations on a Thursday evening, and we were seated right away. We split a tasting with the whimsical chocolate pairing, which was absolutely the right move. The chocolate elevated the experience, highlighting flavors in each wine. Avery was so knowledgeable, and clearly enjoyed sharing that knowledge, which we appreciate! We are far from wine experts, but we enjoy unique experiences such as this. We enjoyed every wine we tasted, getting expertly guided through each one, and we wound up signing up for the wine club, as well as taking home several wines for immediate enjoyment! We are from Florida in Oregon for the summer, and have gone to numerous vineyards while here, this was most definitely the best tasting experience we had! Only regret was not getting here earlier in the summer so we could come back for another visit! Anyway, 10/10 recommend, the views are stunning and wine is delicious, and definitely ask for Avery!

We went on a Saturday evening around 6 pm. I been wanting to check this winery out for a while. They were pretty busy so we decided to take a table outside. The patio had some tables empty but still dirty so we had to sit a level below. If you sit outside you need to walk to the pop up bar and order food and drinks and they gave you a number to put at your table. For as much as it was, I honestly was expecting table service. For two glasses of red wine and a flatbread pizza it was $74. I have been to other wineries and gotten more food and wine for less with table service. I’m not sure if it’s because they were closing in two hours and prepping to close but I didn’t feel the experience was worth the price. I don’t think I would visit again. It was overpriced with bare minimum service. I would rather drive farther out and get a better experience that’s worth the price.
