- AHAmie Hockman1 day ago2.0I traveled 5 hours for mother's day and chose to go to outback, it was expensive, I went to a steak house for dinner, and ended up eating pasta for dinner because I couldn't afford the steak. Blooming onion was best part of my meal

The filet mignon tasted as if it marinated in meat tenderizer and the texture was also the same. The ahi tuna tasted good, however was supposed to be served on a bed of seasoned rice, but came out served on lettuce. When mentioning this to the waiter, he said he didn’t even know that it was to be served with rice and said the kitchen probably didn’t know that either. With the way prices are today, and spending almost $80 for two people, I believe the quality of the steak could’ve been better. I still left a 20% tip, as I believe in that. Oh, the mashed potatoes were great.
