  The Ready Meals in the deli area are always expired 1 or 2 days left on the shelf. This has been a ongoing issue for atleast a year. I love taking these to work for lunch. But its depressing when they are always expired or when I accidentally eat a bad one. Ive told the cashier but never got the memo to the deli.

  This is my local Safeway and I come here every week. The workers are always so nice and even take the time to engage with my kiddos.

  Watch out yon't get overcharged! The "sale" prices on the shelf label aren't what you get charged at checkout. You'll pay full price unless you watch like a hawk and ask the checker to correct it. This happens almost every time I shop here - so I usually shop at Freddy's.

  I’ve come to this Safeway for the past several years never had a bad interaction with a worker until today… I’m doing insta cart and my guest wants bacon, the lady back there was very rude to me and wouldn’t really help me, she was snappy with me, I came back after I found the bacon I wanted and asked if there was some that looked fresher because the ones that were pre cut looks nasty. The other guy back there rudely told me this all he had. They were talking about me as I walked away. Very unprofessional and it disappoints me.

  Dear Cory, who works for safeway obviously you get away with disrespecting and calling customers liars. Yes, I called management, but Stephanie never called me back. The feeling I got is that they did not take complaint serious. And by the way, Safeway, maybe you should tell your employees to not smoke cigarettes in front of the store or on the side of the store where customers are coming in, I think that's very unprofessional. Not only can the customer see them smoking, but can possibly walk into the smoke and smell it.And I wonder how many employees that do smoke on their break.Do they come back in and wash their hands properly to get the smoke smell off of their bodies and their uniforms. I have a decision to make today. Not shop at Safeway for a very long time which I can do, not shop at all at Safeway again and start spending all of my money instead of 50% of my money at Fred Meyers where the customer service Is very professional. I talked to 2 managers.Please do not attempt to call me after you read this post. It is too late, and yes, this incident happened a few days ago, but it's still bothering me. And this store employee should watch what they say to the customers and to the employees. Because you guys are walking on the thin line with discrimination.
