Food is really tasty. Just picked up my order to go, so didn't interact with staff much, but they seemed friendly. Food portions are where it falls apart. Got a half lbs of shrimp and crawdads, and there was nowhere near that much in the bag. For how much the food costs, would really hope for a good portion of food. If the portions were more generous, or at least accurate, it'd be great.

I've never experienced a restaurant that doesn't seem to understand how to expedite food from the kitchen to guests. Parties that come in expect for their entire order of main dishes to come out together. It seems like they are just serving random items as they get cooked. We ordered po'boy sandwiches and chicken wings. We were served one sandwich quickly with wings shortly thereafter but waited 30 minutes for the remaining sandwiches. I've worked in kitchens. You cook the orders as they come in by ticket. You start with the items that take the most amount of time to prepare on the ticket and then the items that cook quicker. Once the ticket is done you serve the table. Maybe they'll figure out the back of house and how to serve a dining room over time but I don't think I'll be back for awhile.

Service should be a number 1 concern but our first experience showed it was not today just after opening. The person who seated us was great, enthusiastic and explained the menu but after that the waitress (who maybe was new to serving) never said her name, did not great us and overall she looked like she was not happy. Overall the food was okay. The shrimp over rice was garlic and shrimp over rice. Very heavy on the garlic. Everything else seemed to have the same seasoning. Calamari and fries, a fish platter with onion rings. Also I asked to bring the apps out with the meals and the waitress said they couldnt do that. All our food came out at different times with my husband waiting almost 10 min for his food. The big dissapointment were the beinets. They were 3 little round donuts, warmed in a microwave with powdered sugar with lemon curd filling. Totally not worth it. This will not be our first for seafood.

We did a double date with some friends to try it out. The food was delicious and flavorful! Our server Drew was so so cool and funny and nice. Lots of lemonade flavors, la Croix, and tiramisu! It was fun having them dump the boil bag on the table, made it a fun and different experience from your usual restaurant experiences. Chris (owner? Manager?) came by and gave us complimentary lemonades! The only thing I wish we had was wet wipes! Even with the bib and gloves we were given, still got alittle messy. Very excited to go back and try more!

My family and I were very excited to try this place. We had never had seafood boil before together and were ready for a great experience. The servers were very kind, I accidentally knocked over a cup of lemonade & felt very bad about it, but they still kept up their service. The food was brought out and we were immediately disappointed. After just a few bites of my food, the owner came over & started shoving his phone in my face trying to take pictures or maybe a video, who knows. I looked at him and he said “Is it ok if I take a picture?” I declined nicely, but the fact he had his phone pointed at me and was taking pictures before even asking was very weird. I had my toddler right next to me and it made me very uncomfortable. The food was just gross. There’s no other way at to explain it. No flavor, besides spice… and just tasted like we were eating out of a dumpster. The owner came over and said “If you give us a good review you’ll get 10% off of your food.” All of these good reviews you’re seeing are just people he convinced to write for him. I feel bad for writing this, but this was unacceptable. The servers were very kind, nothing against them at all!!! Another server came over and told us about the review for 10% off, I’m sure he’s trained to do this, so nothing against him, but it just felt like we were being pressured at that point. I do NOT recommend this place, I feel awful for the servers and what they might be going through with their boss. We should’ve known not to go in when it’s right on the corner of a busy street & there were just a few customers. Praying my family don’t get sick..
