  I'm so glad we stopped here! It's such a beautiful little place where you can sit right on the river. The food was delicious and quite a variety. Service was perfect and the people were very friendly. I would definitely recommend stopping here. We came on the day they were changing the sign from Mac's Diner to The Riverside Restaurant which seems more fitting for the experience.

  I went to dinner with my family here and is was not a good experience. We ordered our food and took a exceptionally long time. When the food did arrive the burger bun wet and moist and the burger patty was like a brick. I'd say if yall want food just go to carl's Jr, it's fater, taste better, and get a lot for food for the same price.

  I want to start by saying I travel a lot, and consider myself a restaurant connoisseur, this place may be my new favorite. Last Tuesday night was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. Sitting by the river created such a relaxing atmosphere, and the beautiful water views made the entire evening feel even more enjoyable. The whiskey BBQ chicken dinner completely stole the show. The chicken was perfectly cooked — juicy, tender, and packed with flavor — but the real standout was the house-made BBQ sauce. You could immediately taste the difference. The sauce had an incredible smoky sweetness with a rich whiskey flavor that gave the dish so much depth without overpowering the chicken. Every bite tasted fresh, balanced, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of meal you think about long after you leave. I also have to mention the chicken piccata from my previous visit because it was just as memorable. The lemon butter sauce was smooth, rich, and full of bright flavor, while the capers added the perfect touch of freshness and balance. The chicken was cooked beautifully and paired perfectly with the sauce. It’s rare to find a restaurant that can execute two completely different chicken dishes so well, but both meals were outstanding in their own way. The service made the evening even better. Our waitress brought such a welcoming energy to the experience and helped create a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere throughout the night. Between the incredible food, beautiful riverfront setting, and great service, this is the kind of place that easily becomes a favorite for a night out.

  They nailed it on this place. It’s so freaking cute. It’s like the perfect diner on the river with an amazing view and then there’s also a bar yet it’s somehow still classy. Imagine like a dive bar/diner only it’s really done well and the restroom in the bar area was the cleanest restroom of any bar I’ve ever seen in my life. It was so clean. The only recommendation I would have to make this place just an absolute 10 to 10 would be to make the chicken fried steak in house. The trio eggs Benedict was freaking awesome! The pancake had the crispy edges, just like Grandma used to make it! This place should be packed 24/7!!! If you just want a quick eat or you wanna sit down for a get breakfast or even have a beer with some bar food, this place checks all the boxes with an amazing view and atmosphere!
