Excellent food, fun atmosphere at Fork Forty. At Damascus, though, I asked about veteran discounts, and the pleasant young lady decided that "I don't know, the manager isn't here" was a good enough answer. I would train the employees to instead of leaving it at that, go one or two steps further: "I can call right now if you'd like to wait on making your order." Or, "I'm sorry, our manager can't be reached at this time, but I'll try to find out as soon as I can."
A little service goes a long way. I felt the 15% tip lowest option was laughable. They don't deliver your food to your table *and* act as if "I don't know" is a satisfactory answer. America is one of the only tip cultures in the world, and this kind of experience makes me want to either hit the "Custom Tip" Option, or make a point to not tip at all.
It isn't a big deal, as food service people, like teachers and TikTok nurses, aren't heroes, and don't deserve pay for extra services when they don't provide the extra services.
I ordered the chicken plate for delivery through Door Dash. I was completely disappointed at the amount of hummus and tzatziki in the box, based off the pictures on Door Dash and the price.
Food tasted great though. I was worried there wasn't going to be a lot of meat and it was going to be a thin layer with a ton of rice underneath, but there was a decent amount of chicken.
Wow wow such good food. We ordered the chicken plate and falafel both super flavorful and ingredients tasted fresh. Falafel was fluffy rather than dense like a Greek falafel. They must put clove in the rice it made it really flavorful. Really delicious, highly recommend.
Amazing food and great service! The shawarma was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, the rice was fresh and fragrant, and the lamb was tender and delicious. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

The young 11 year old girl was AWESOME! the food was really great BUT we had to wait 40 minutes for our food and they weren't very busy. I know they have their kids working there but, if they cant get people's food out faster they shouldn't use them. They girl (15ish) cooking came out with gloves on and touched door handles (nasty door handles) and went right back and was touching food. I asked her to please change her gloves ( our food wasn't ready yet) she gave me attitude about it and I had to explain why she needed to change her gloves while preparing food. Once we got the food it was delicious but I still worry about what she did to our food because she asked what order was ours. 🤔
