  Food is very good, service is excellent and attentive, atmosphere can be loud and obnoxious depending on how much alcohol has been consumed by others near by. Normally, it's a diner vibe with the clank and clatter of plates... followed by the sound of silence as mouths and tummies get full and happy 😊! Something for everyone!

  The food was seasoned. For two plates plus tip it was about $38. So not overtly expensive. I really liked their biscuits. Their Country Fried Steak was very very oily. It was dripping down the plate creating an oily pool. It makes sense to serve the food as quickly as possible rather than take the time to drain it. I’m glad to finally try it out but unlikely to return.

  I’ve been a couple of time and the food is consistently delicious. Originally, I went because their sign said “Salem’s top country fried steak”, which is yummy, but their chicken & waffles is amazing! So much chicken, and so juicy! The staff is also friendly, especially towards kids. It’s one of our top places in Salem.

  Date of visit: 4/18/26 We had the fried shrimp benedict and the traditional breakfast. The portion sizes were great, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the prices were reasonable. The staff is friendly and always provide great service.
