But they take forever to make the food, much longer than it should take for a bagel shop. It's a consistent problem too, I end up waiting 10-15 minutes on a bagel sandwich, which makes me late sometimes. I just recently found a hair in my bagel too, which really disappointed me. I'll probably keep eating here because the food is addicting but the service really needs improvement.

- SAStephen AJul 17, 20261.0TLDR: pickup orders are silently dropped in the middle of the restaurant, no one knows if or when they are complete, and the bagels are so burnt that they are black Photo shows an onion bagel and a much less burnt everything bagel for color comparison. I’ve eaten from here in the past and I admit it’s usually a 3-4 star place. Today I am giving it a 1 star because I’m just that irritated. Did a pickup order and the person at the counter said it wasn’t ready yet. So I waited. And waited. After about 30 minutes I realize that a bunch of people were eating food they ordered a few minutes prior. So I start looking around and realize only the counter orders are being called— the pickup orders are being dropped in the middle of the restaurant on a counter where people are seated and eating! Not the counter by the register, a counter literally in the middle of the restaurant… and it had been there the entire time I had been waiting. I was also waiting directly in front of the employee at the register the entire time. You’d think after 25 minutes he would wonder why I’m still standing there. I get the bagels back home and we realize they are so burnt that they are black and completely hard— employees couldn’t see that when they packed it? We had to throw most of them away. I’m saving the drive and frustration and going to my amazing neighborhood bakery from now on.
